Author's Response: I don't feel bad for him. After teh crap he's said to her--mainly about Parker--I can see why she would want to get revenge. After all, they did hate each other. I'm not going to ignore that. But, yes, eventually she will come around and start to be nice. There are many sides to Buffy, and I hope you enjoy the Flirty Buffy. Interesting story. I like it, less with the mind-meldy thought sharing and more with the voyeristic stuff. It's cool :) I'll be looking forward to more.

agreed, buffy is an even bigger bitch here than she was on the show, teasing him like that, except i find it hard to believe that buffy would have been so casual talking about him with angel, or him with xander for that matter. she would have been a bit more disgusted about it, and i could have done without the spangel mention. well, to be honest, they both annoy me in this fiction, i think i might just give one more chapter a chance.

Author's Response: I respectfully disagree. Spike and Buffy were horrible to each other. Spike said some horrible things to her about Parker and Angel, and she often teased him about Drusilla. However, I am glad you were honest with me, and I hope my next chapter isn't disappointing. If you don't like Spangel, don't worry, that will be the last mention of it in this fic.

Author's Response: I think some people forget that Spike and Buffy hated each other, and that they could be extremely cruel to one another. Bitchy Buffy is fun, and yes, she can be a bitch, but don't worry--I think this is her at her bitchiest, and I hope you enjoy Kinder Buffy and Flirty Buffy as well.

Very realistic Spike, though I can't help but hope he thinks of something way too soft or sweet for the Big Bad ever to admit to while he doesn't know Buffy can hear him. Wonder if thoughts of draining and thoughts of shagging will switch around?
Great chapter, liked the interaction between Spike and Buffy and how believable it is from what we saw on the show.


Author's Response: Ah, yes. Those too-sweet thoughts will start seeping in. He's still William, after all--deep down inside. The question is, how deep? He will think nice thoughts, but this is Spike we're talking about so violence and blood will also be a part of his thinking process. Thanks for your review.
