Author's Response: Ever notice how Drusilla floats in and out of their lives so often? I'm surprised she didn't do so with all their close calls of dying throughout the time in Sunnydale. Surely she had gotten visions of Spike's impending death.

Good to see all is prepared now. The protecting spell was a good idea.
~ Their children will be mortal, right? That is something Buffy (and Spike too) will take time to get used too (their children dying but not them) I guess.

Author's Response: I think that is something they might never get used to but perhaps. Imagine knowing you will live forever and having to watch you child die in battle knowing you could have lived in their place. Would be hard but it's a fact of their life.

Research... not always helpful quickly. But it sounds like a good idea to try what Buffy said.

Author's Response: Research if nothing else can lead you to where you know what you don't need even if it doesn't exactly give you everything you do.

And the chapter started so well with finding the new house; it really sounds good.
Too bad that it ended way more worse - Buffy got kidnapped? Evil cliffhanger but I can read on, that's good.

Ah it was Oz; very good he came by in that moment. (Though I wonder if dying there would have been really the end because they are both immortal now.)
It was really good that they've met their old friend again (and I wonder what Willow will say).

Author's Response: Honestly, I was so wrapped up in the story I didn't think about the fact they couldn't die and I'm quite sure our heroes didn't remember that either as they were fighting for what they thought were their lives!

Oh and the dancing.... awmp made a song (from NIN I think) to the lyrics Don't. - Stop me., just got remembered on it again.
I wonder if Buffy noticed the box in Spike's suit jacket.
