Spike is depressed and that equals pathetic - he knows how he's behaving but just can't summon the strength to do anything about it. Final chapter tomorrow. The Cordelia-as-a-reporter thing was a twist I didn't see coming! Glad to see inside of Buffy's head a little in this chapter.

Their reunion was great, but very sad :( Poor Spike. I'm counting on you to make everything happy in Spuffy land in the last chapter :P

So glad that Spike went to LA. And he didn't turn down the contract right away.Oz is right ,he needs to talk to a therapist..he's so depressed. Wonder where Buffy moved to? And Cordy looks to be an interesting addition.Can't wait for Spike to start pulling himself together and meet Buffy again.

Again, I just want to apologize for my comments. It does come off as too aggressive. I'm sorry. I was having a bad or I should say bad week. I really don't like to read stories where Spike is an ass and he changes for Buffy. I mean I don't mind when Spike is an ass at one moment or another because everybody has their moments. Just not where Spike is just an ass for part of the story and just plain mean to Buffy and then later on changes to be better for Buffy. I don't really care for AU stories like that. I just think there are too many stories like that. I'm still waiting for the day to see an AU story where Buffy is just a bitch for part of the story and changes to be better for Spike. Maybe, one day I will see a story like that. Anyways, I really don't know why I even went off on this story because if anybody looks like an ass it is Buffy. She is the one who cheated on Spike and didn't even care to get in touch with him afterwards. Spike was pissed seeing her with Angel and who can blame him. Spike is depressed in this chapter. I can see that too. Since Spike is the type who loves with everything he is. I mean look how he got when Dru left him in the show. Poor Spike. It is good to see Spike have a great friend though. It is even better that you make that friend Oz. I always wondered if they would have became friends if Seth Green didn't leave the show. Spike would finally be taller than someone too. LOL But I could picture Spike and Oz getting along really well. I also recently reread one of your other stories before you posted this. I was thinking what a great writer you are. So, I feel extra bad about my aggressive comment. I reread A Loss of Pride. I forgot what a great story that was. Again, I love the fact you gave Spike a friend since Spike never really had a real friend on the show. Brad was a great new character. Your story Changing Lives was a story that i read but it was difficult for me. I really didn't like Spike in that story. I didn't like how he lied the whole time. That was a story that I almost stopped reading because I didn't care for Spike and how you wrote him. But for some reason I didn't and I just don't know why. I also read the sequel to that story Parallel Lives which I enjoyed so much. Which made me glad that I stayed with the first part. Is Spike going to become a vampire or not. Great stuff. That is all for now. I think. I can't wait to read more of this story.

Good start. Poor Spike*pets him*,he didn't behave very well, but Buffy was kissing Angel and she knew it. So just one fight and she doesn't want to see him? That's not very mature. Spike has to get himself together, he is acting really pathetic.

Great chapter, can't believe Angel did that! I hope Spike gets himself together and goes back.. I'd imagine Angel didn't tell her what happened, so surely there's hope yet! ^_^
