You painted a vivid, emotional picture of the confusion between these two. They're both feeling so pervy for being attracted to their sibling, it's making each encounter awkward. It's very entertaining.

That escalated incredibly fast. One stumble, and they're nearly over the cliff, and then Spike pulls away and disappears. Like Buffy, I thought that was the end of it. Spike's reappearance and the searing kiss came out of left field. These two are in for a lot of thinking.

Spike being a bartender at the club really put a monkey wrench in Buffy's fun, though it was obviously beyond time to get her drunk friend home. I enjoyed the weirdness of the attraction simmering under Buffy's skin. She's going to have a lot to contend with in the weeks to come. Having a free guest room in New York was pretty odd for a teenager, but you spun a believable tale.

Spike must be in love with Buffy a lot when he tried to slept with Harmony right away, at last he stopped. That does only show that there's a danger that Buffy can't trust him when things get difficult, he's weak. Can't say I love this Spike a lot at the moment.

i don't know how they can go up from this, i hate your spike so much right now, the jackass, i never thought i would say this, but i hope buffy finds someone else. this man is nothing but a jerk, even if they do end up together at some point, he'll probably just cheat on her, it's what he does apparently, and knowing he had a random thing with harmony makes me lose any respect for him i might have had left.

Author's Response: I don't believe in once a cheater always a cheater...yes he cheated on Dru twice, but he cheated on Dru, not Buffy...he and Dru loved each other, but they weren't right and part of him knew that...I have a lot of sympathy for Spike tbh, maybe more so than Buffy, I think he's really hurting and he's a different person to her so obviously deals with it in a different way, and I don't think its any less healthy than her way...

Spike is a coward for running away. He's a fool if he thinks he can go from brother to lover and then back to brother. He's so confused hes even confusing me! Can't wait for more!

So sad! I hope that an update come soon. It will be so hard to wait. Poor Spike! Poor Buffy! Heartbreaking!

she doesn't want a brother, you moron. not liking your spike at all right now, he's such a coward and yeah, buffy deserves better. i hate men that think they have the right to make decisions for us, not sure how i feel about this story right now. i'll probably give one more chapter a chance, but i'm not sure if i would be able to continue.

Author's Response: I hate guys who make decisions for us too...but it happens...Buffy is I promise going to tell him what a moron he was for not asking her what she wanted...but it won't be for a while...I hope you can continue with the story, but I did warn of angst and a seperation and thats just the way the story is planned, otherwise it'd be over rather quickly...neither of them could survive on their own before the story starts...they seperate, go as low as they can get til they realise what they want for themselves...thats just what I want from the characters before they get anywhere near being together...right now Buffy's too naive and Spike has issues, both of which I've brought up and both of which were being overlooked by them being together because they were too lost in it all...

Spike cheated even twice and the second time he wasn't drunk. Now that's a question of trust ~ will Buffy ever trust Spike around Anya?
No, can't say I like it very much at the moment, it's so sad to see them so hurt. Not sure if Buffy will stay with him now.
