Buffy is right, a good education is important. But later when you have a job it isn't important if you had an A or C in the classes - you just have to do a got job. ~ It sounds all very difficult for them. But Spike is right, he could work for his education later. But it could also turn out as never if the band gets too successful. Between a rock and a hard place, huh?
You'll only now in hindsight what was right.

Author's Response: Yep! Exactly! I graduated from college with a 3.4 GPA and it took me 6 months to find a job. So really in Spike's case, he's gonna have to go with his gut.

Good that the pregnancy is going well. I like how its not all about the pregnancy but you still tell what is happenning with it..

I wonder what will happen with Spike's music.. Really hoping it will go good..at least eventually..
Nice that Buffy and Spike are talking. Still I am a bit worried about them..

I really enjoyed the updates.. even if I wanted to hit several people in the head..like Parker. Amazing how stupidone can be.. You really write the characters well.

Author's Response: Thanks Kirsty! :) If I don't finish the story by Monday, the updates may slow down, because I'm starting a full-time job, and I'll be working 40-48 hours a week! Yeah, I'm trying not to make the pregnancy be THE story. The story's more about Buffy and Spike and if they can stay friends and lovers at the same time, which Buffy feared might be impossible at the beginning of the story. Lots more soon!

Thanx for the quick update. :) Can somebody please throw Parker into a ditch or something? He is pissing me off. Jerk. Liked Xander defending her. And poor Spike is really trying so hard but Buffy seems to be pressuring him, even tho she doesn't mean to.

I'm all for going to college. But I don't think Spike should go to college. I think going to college, being in a band where you need to be all over the place, being with Buffy and the baby is too much. If the band doesn't work out then they will know within a year or two. He could still go to college then. My heart goes out to Spike and the good man he is trying to be to support his little family. Especially since his dad wasn't around. He is trying to do his best. And I could so understand the way he reacted when Buffy asked him about college. I know Buffy didn't mean anything by it. But Spike is trying so hard to do what is right for Buffy and the baby. He probably feels that he is being stretch to the limit and he can't give anymore. I also wanted to say that I'm so in love with this Spike. Well, I'm always in love with him but this one especially. LOL He is such a supporting, understanding, nice, always there kind of guy. How supporting he has been with Buffy is so wonderful to read. What an amazing man this Spike is. Even more so when his dad wasn't around to teach him how to be a man. Dru was stupid when she let him get away. Any woman who lets a man like that get away is stupid.

God, Parker is such a prick. I really hope he gets whats coming to him soon. He really deserves a swift kick to the groin!
