I think that is the first time a writer mentioned my name on the author's note. That made me feel special. LOL I'm so happy that we got another chapter today. Loved it. I bet Buffy wasn't expecting much of a challenge from Spike. I bet she found herself surprised that she had to pull other moves that she only used when she practice by herself. That is my Spike coming back from losing to only come back like that. I love my "Spikey" as you can tell. LOL Can't wait to see what happens next and to see where Spike's standing is on the ship.

SO disappointed that Spike lost to Parker of all people. Was hoping he'd prove to them he was worth his spot there. Totally sucks! You wrote Parker in a brilliantly annoying way. I wish I had a Willow in my life though! I totally need help with my eyesight. ;-) Very interested to see how Riley is going to play into this whole thing? Will be he be lovelorn? Cruel? A schmuck? Parker better not have won! That is just so wrong! Spike is a way better fighter considering he kept up with Wood, it's just so frustrating that Parker got the upper hand, Spike should whip his ass for being so rude and crude about the captain. Love the little info. on the crew. I never liked Parker and Woods on the show for obvious reasons. But at least Woods had a valid reason on wanting to kill Spike on the show. Parker is just scum and the way he uses women. Although, a part of me didn't feel that bad for Buffy on the show because when you sleep with a guy right away chances are that is the only thing they wanted so you really shouldn't expect more. Anyways, glad to see that you sill have Parker as a jerk in this story. I'm also glad that you have Andrew and Jonathan in the story especially Andrew. I wonder if Andrew is going to have a little man crush on Spike like on the show. That would be too funny. I'm thinking Spike special something that he is going to bring on the ship is that he is going to be an exceptional fighter. Which would be like keeping him alike with the his character from the show. We all know that Spike could have easily taken Woods and Parker if he wants to. But I guess he got distracted. I was hoping that he was going to fight Buffy and win. That would be cool to give Buffy her first defeat. Spike is after all the Slayers of Slayers. haha If Spike could beat Buffy than he might keep that to himself but most likely not. I always felt that Spike was a better fighter than Buffy on the show and if came down to it that Spike could take Buffy. But that is just my opinion. Spike seems to have already have a crush on Buffy. Spike and his lusting feelings for her. I wonder when Buffy is going to start having some lusting feelings for him as well. I'm like come on girl the man is hot. Maybe, in time, Faith could persuade her. Either in making Buffy jealous and flirting with Spike herself or Faith telling Buffy to jump on that piece of salty goodness. LOL Nice little info. about Buffy and her father. I'm happy for Spike that he is feeling that he is finding his place. That he made have a home. That must be a wonderful feeling when you feel like you have no family and home for the longest time. But finally found your place and a place where you can call home. So, I'm happy that Spike is already feeling that way in such a short time on being on the ship.
I hope you update tomorrow but if I must wait longer then I guess I have to. hehe

I too am a fan of andrew and johnathan, and thought it would be a kick to make them pirates as well. just not the killin kind. Loving it. The only thing that I'm not crazy about is Willow being able to do magic. Only because it makes things to easy for them. At least I think it is going to be too easy for them to do everything. That they are going to be getting away from everything because she knows how to do magic. I don't hate that you have Willow doing magic in this story but I don't love it either. But I'm sure it will grow on me or it won't affect my love for this story. Can't wait to see how William does on the ship. I'm still smiling on the true reason why Buffy gave William the nickname 'Spike'

Poor William. He was trying to do the noble thing and wanted to save the women on the ship. Buffy and Willow seem to bite his poor head off because of it. He was only being a gentlemen. LOL I love the real reason why Buffy gave William the nickname Spike. I wonder if she will ever tell him the real reason one day. I also wonder if that was the first time she ever felt a man's penis when it was hard. Something tells me that she has never been physical with a man before. She just seems like she was never interested in being with a man from what i read . Until William came along that is LOL I don't know but that is what I get from Buffy. That story I told you about. The one where Buffy was captain and held William for ransom. Was my favorite Spuffy pirate story. This one could challenge it. I love pirate Spuffy stories. But I think I like it better when Buffy is the captain. This is only the second story that I have read with Buffy as a captain. With the other story she was a little hard and acted tough. But she wasn't a bad or mean person. I think she was like that because she felt that she needed to be for being captain to a bunch of men. I guess she felt that couldn't let think that she was soft because she was a girl. Also, growing up on a pirate ship and being the only little girl. I guess might make most women a little on the not so feminine side. I was looking for a word to say but I couldn't think of anything. So, I just said on the not so feminine side because I couldn't think of anything else. With Spike he always seems to be written as evil or just a very bad man in stories where he is the captain. Maybe, if Spike was written differently than I might like Spike as captain as much or even more so than Buffy. But I don't think so. There is something about Buffy being captain that I love. William being a crew member or like the other story being held for ransom and breaking Buffy down a little. Who wouldn't break down and fall in love with sweet William who also has a bit of an edge to him and that is when you get Spike. So hot. Don't get me wrong. I think I have enjoyed all or at least more Spuffy stories where Spike is the captain. I just think I prefer Buffy as the captain. But you should really read that story after you finish with this one. I'm going to find it because now i'm in the mood to read it again. I know that it is hard to find though because if i remember correctly the person who wrote it. Became a professional writer and rewrote it but of course it wasn't Spuffy. If I remember correctly. It has been many years ago. Way back in the day. So, I might not be able to find it. Wish me luck though. I wish the next few days would pass so I can read the next chapter already. I'm in patience like that.

I love the way they played him, and how William-like it was for him to come to the 'Ladies' defence! I liked Willow's giggling, she is- quite frankly- adorable!
Must say, I love Xander and Oz here. This trully is Xander at his finest. I'm glad he's not the snivelling jealous character, but I'm glad that you do still have someone in that role (bring on something undoubtably horrifying with Parker!)
It was neat how Will evolved so instantly into the confident man we know, as soon as he was presented with his new nickname! Perrrrrrrrfect!

I love it. I love that he has a double meaning to his new nickname and the last couple lines in particular were awesome and cool "We're going to be robbin' them then 'eh?". Perfect.
I'm still a little confused, as I'm sure Spike is about why they were telling him he didn't seem fit for the ship because he was willing to hide a stow-away and then they let him on the ship anyway. All bluff for Buff I suppose.
Anyway, this story is fabulous. Can't wait to read more!

Your story Communication 101 is one of my favorites. I loved it so much. I actually reread that story not long ago. Just wanted to let you know much I loved that story. This story kind of reminds me of a very old Spuffy story that I read a long time ago. Where Buffy was the captain like this story. And took over the ship William and his sister Dawn was on. William manged to talk Buffy into letting Dawn go. Buffy was the captain as well and kept William for ransom. I guess because his parents had money. I remember William and Tara being and Buffy being jealous. LOL Giles was also like her father in that story. Of course Buffy and William end up falling in love. William ended up staying with Buffy and on the ship. I forgot the name of the story. But it was one of my favorites and one of the first Spuffy stories that I have ever read. I still think about how much I loved that story today. So, seeing this story reminds me of that story. I'm so excited to see a new pirate Spuffy story. Giles invading the ship Buffy was on when she was a little girl turned out to be a great thing for Buffy. She is now the captain and has all these wonderful things. Clothes, jewelry, shoes, etc. She gets to boss people around. What a great life Buffy has. So, it turned out to be a great thing for her. Poor William though. He has had a hard and terrible life. William has that I do whatever I need to do to survive altitude. He has to from what his life has been. I'm sure he is strong in the physical sense as well. Since he does a lot of physical labor. It is good to read that he still has respect for women though. This is something little but I was happy to see Harmony written as someone who is sweet for a change. So, are there are any other women on the ship besides Buffy and Willow. I was hoping Anya will be a crew member of the ship as well. I know I'm thinking too much. But Buffy and William. Oz and Willow. But what about Xander. And Anya is one of my favorite characters. I'm not saying you have to put Anya in this story. Or that you have to have any other relationships besides Buffy and William. But there is nothing wrong to hoping. Anyways, can't wait to read more of this. I'm really really excited about this one as you can tell. I am happy to read that you have many chapters written already. Then I know updates should be quick. At least I hope so. Sorry, for rambling too much. I tend to do that when I'm really excited. LOL
