The making out in the shed was hot and sweet. *sniffles* It was bittersweet how it was Buffy's first experience being touched and having it feel good. And Spike was a gentleman, which I was happy about, I wouldn't want him rushing her :)

I keep thinking that Buffy or Spike should call the police right away about what's been happening to her, because abuse only gets worse as time goes on and she could very well be dead by the time she's 17. But, thinking of it in RL terms, who knows how any of us would act under the horrible circumstances that she's under. Though, I'd like to think that I would definitely go to the police to avoid being brutalized God knows how many more times. Buffy seems to have a plan, I just hope she lives to put it into motion...

I'm sure I've read this before. Have you posted this story at other sites? Anyway, I'm intrigued so far. Very dark, yes, but I love the Spuffyness. :) Looking forward to more.

This is the first time I have encountered your story, and I think it is very heartfelt and thought-provoking. The fact that Spike witnessed one if her most horrible and humiliating moments in her life can only play more into this story. I fleetingly wondered at first why he didn't step in when he first saw what was happening, but seriously, how do you fight a crazily insane father with a knife?
Spike's feelings for her were apparent before he needed to rescue her, so I believe there is a chance for them to survive (hopefully!) But anything can happen at this point, can't it?


Author's Response: Well I definitely hope you will enjoy reading it. There's still a very bumpy road for them in the future, but there will be a light at the end of the tunnel, metaphorically anyway. :)
