Hahaha I love the comment at the end!

Shower sex... awesomeness. I loved the teasing and playfulness, very cute!

And: I want a BF who would spoil me like that! She got treated like a princess! Spike is verrry smooth.

Ok, my last review of the night lol :P

Wow, can Anne be my mom too? lol Very hip lady. The present exchange was great, as was the Spuffy playfulness in the snow :) Spike has a great family, not only are they totally accepting of Buffy, but they got her Xmas prezzies too. That was so sweet of them. Spike's gifts to her were lovely, especially the locket :)

*huggles*

I'm going to have to stop reading this story....first Anne buys a 16-year-old RAPE victim sleazy lingerie and now she is chuckling and listening to her teenage son and his girlfriend upstairs having sex?!?!?! That is just disturbing and gross....sorry, but it is....what's next? Is she going to offer to videotape them so they can have a keepsake? Weird, disgusting, and just not for me....I am DONE with this story.....Excuse while I go shower to wash the ick factor off......

Author's Response: You have every right to your opinion, but I respectfully disagree. I'm not going to try and convince you to keep reading. I was aware when I wrote this that some people wouldn't like it. However, I don't write anything without being able to justify it. I'm not going to post a lecture on the whys of everything, but I do have reason for everything. Thanks for attempting to read it. - Kiera

Oh what a lovely update, both of them. I was ficking though your reviews, your other reviews for this fic that is and I am appauled by some of the people's responses. Obviously, they have never had or known anyone that has been consistantly abused over a long period of time. I think you have done a wonderful job with it all, I can understand Buffy's hesitance and her turning 17 seems to be the age where she thinks she will be able to take control and stand up for herself. It's not an un-common thing, I think its rather logical for her to think that in her situation. Spike, is trying to be there for her the best he can and going to the police would only drive Buffy away, something he obviously doesn't want. He is giving Buffy something she has never had before, trust and love.

As for the sex, come on!! As if 16 yr olds don't have sex. A lot of abused girls actually start having sex with other men, and a lot of them, way before 16. I am so sick of people getting angry and abusing the writer when the story doesn't go the way they want it to. Not everything should have to be happy spuffy after straight away, if at all. If anyone thinks this fic is unrealistic, they should get their head out of the clouds.

I support your writing of this fic Kiera 100% and I will continue to read it. I think it addresses a lot of issues about certain things, things obviously some people have no clue about. I currently know a 14 yr old boy who has gotten a 16 yr old pregnant. The 16 yr old was previously raped by her last boyfriend. How unrealistic is that?

Sorry for the rant, it just really got under my skin.

Author's Response: Oh my god. You have no idea how much I love you right now. lol Thank you very much for supporting me in this. It means a lot that someone else can understand what I'm trying to express here. It's not all going to be happy, but it is going to tell a story. The story hasn't even hit the worst point yet. I have a feeling I'm going to lose a lot of readers after the next few posts, but hopefully I'll keep some as well. Having posted this before and gotten flames for it, I know people are going to say that so much detail is unnecessary. However, I feel that it is. The graphic telling is meant to convey just how broken this girl is going to be, and I don't think people can really get into her mentality unless they feel like they've been there. So again, thank you for your support :) I hope you'll continue to read and review, even through the difficult chapters. Much love - Kiera
