It’s a William POV showing that he’s yet to have a sexual awakening. I love your perfectly sweet William with his insecure, poetic soul, and rock-hard body quietly lusting after Buffy. If both of them don’t make any false steps forwards, it will be steamy hot in the next chapters. The cat’s away, Will’s given the staff the week-off—you’ve definitely set the scene for William and Buffy to both get off. Can’t wait for more!

Ack! Another William-gets-seduced fic! I worship at your muse’s feet. This time it’s more of an innocent Buffy that gets her groove on…but rightfully so! The way that you’ve painted this Cecily-William marriage is believable in the context of what we saw about class and that heart-breaker’s few scenes with the poetic William in FFL. The only enticement William could have possibly offered Cecily was money or position—which is why Cecily won’t let him go.

Your flashbacks showing Buffy’s attraction to William and wishes for him to have a life outside of Cecily makes her impending role of “the other woman” almost justified. I’m so glad that your stories are fiction and I don’t have to make these judgments about people and relationships of those I know. The kicker in this fic is that we’re finally given what should’ve been explored more in the show—a solid friendship first and foremost. Don’t get me wrong—the fireworks were spectacular, as will be when Will and Buffy get-it-on, but I wished the Spike/Buffy friendship had a chance to get flushed out first. Your chapters always end with me wanting more. You’re so gifted it’s evil!

Okay, so I just had to leave another. Out of curiosity I went and read all of the other reviews, and they made me giggle a LOT, but I have to say I agree... Buffy definitely has her work cut out for her here. Because of Cecily, William is now a damaged man. He thinks lowly of himself and she's led him to believe that he needs her. I seriously hope that Buffy can turn this around for him, as well as his sex life (cuz I know we're ALL waiting for that!). Also, I wouldn't oppose to a bitchfight between Buffy and Cecily ;P That would be most entertaining (just food for thought). Tee hee! Looking forward to the next chappy. :D
