Wow, very cool start! I love Slayer Spike fics, this one promises to be uber-cool and different than the others :D
The part about the orphanage was so heartbreaking, young William having to witness all that carnage :( Buffy is really interesting in this story, I'm anxious to find out more about her too. And I looooved the mention of 'The Stand', one of my all-time faves!

This fic is so interesting so far. I want to know what else has happened to Spike and I want to know why Buffy is a redemptive vamp... also, who is her Sire lol.
Ive seen the movie of The Stand, but haven't read the book. The book I have though is huge, would take me forever to read.

Great start guys, really interesting. Love vamp Buffy and Slayer Spike, and this one has a Buffy as a "good" guy. Wondering who her Sire is? Poor orphan Spike, he's had a rough life, but he at least knows there are some good demons,he's not so black and white in his thinking. btw..it said that Spike was born in Bedford,and then it was changed to Bedlam... don't mean to be rude:)

I loved the flirtage and them worrying about the age difference issue heehee Age wasn't an issue on the show, but I'd think it would cause *some* anxiety. So I think it's cool that you're having them ponder it. But I'm with Clem on this - it won't matter once all is said and done. Buffy is a hot vampire-cougar, who should totally go for it! :P
Maybe they can double-date with Clem and his girlfriend some time heehee

Oh it 's so cute...with the flirting and being worried about the age difference. Totally unlike the show , where a 240 yr old vamp who was about 27 when he was turned, macking on a 16 yr. old girl was just fine and dandy.UGH!! At least here it's only 3 yrs, she's just 20. I love your Clem too. Being so supportive and saying the age thing and vamp thing doesn't matter. Too sweet.

Wow this was brave of you to write. Typical how it was never really a big issue with Buffy when it came to Angel and her - but to Spike being human and male is younger than Buffy - it does. Like he notices it and notices she is demon too. Whereas those rose colored glasses Buffy wore told her Angel was a teenager just like she was and not some older than dirt vampire even when she found out...UGH! Nicely Done kitten! Can't wait for more! Question: why is it that young girls never question the older man age but younger guys will? Or you know what I mean lol! Even in this show it was glossed over but you could see it happening in technicolor! *Grumbles at the idiocracy of it all* Ok me and my rants lol...Hope this review sticks! Crosses fingers! OK i'm all caught up now. I loved these last two chappies. Alot of info. I like Buffy that Buffy wants to look out for Spike and watch over him, and that Spike knows there are some good demons. Clem was so nice to offer him a place to stay. :) I can't wait for Spike to meet Buffy again and to meet Angel . ;)
