Author's Response: I always wondered why Spike didn't bite Glory when he and Buffy were fighting her. If a bite could kill, the drain could have been used as a weapon. So I had him use it against her here. :D

I've had a busy few days so I've only just logged in and found this sequel. I love it! Buffy 2 has had such a positive influence on 'young' Buffy! Can't help wondering if the 2 Spikes are ever going to be switched back though... and what would happen if they were...

Wow what a great chapter. I loved that Buffy gave him absolution..he deserved that. I hated how canon put all the blame on Spike and none on Buffy for all the bad in their relationship. Spike was a soulless vamp, what the hell was Buffy's excuse? This Buffy is really maturing and is treating Spike like he deserves. I love how sweet they are together. And I'm so happy the Scoobs are accepting. Yay! About time.
Uh oh now Glory's here and Spike has to kill Ben, hope Buffy doesn't get all bitchy about that. Shouldn't there be a mention of that in B2"s bible?

Author's Response: I agree. Being pulled out of heaven was no excuse. But since Spike didn't have a soul, so canon said it was all his fault, even though most often Buffy was really to blame. Buffy's binder mentions Glory, but not Ben since the spell that keeps people from knowing that Glory is Ben is still in effect here, as Glory is still alive. Spike's the only one immune. And those sex scenes are the fun part to write! :D

Awe I'm glad that Buffy gave Spike a new memory of the day after.

Lovely chapter. I was wondering when Dawn would show up. I do have to wonder if Buffy2 wrote anything about Dawn in that file. If so did it change or get "deleted" by the mojo that the monks did. I mean I am sure Buffy2 wrote about Glory so I would think there is something in there about how best to kill her. She wrote about being pulled out of heaven so I know she had to write something about how she died. Spike is right about Ben being the weak link and should be killed. I know that sounds *sorta* horrible but you have think about the billions of people in the world and then those other dimensions too. Glad the Scoobs did put up a fuss.... although Xander is still a bit annoying I suppose this goes back to when Buffy 'rejected' him and told him she doesn't think of him that way. Cripes he needs to get over it... he has pretty much ruined any relationship she has had since then except maybe Riley and I think sooner or later he would have ruined that one too. Anyway I like that Spike is finally getting some good things happening for him he deserves to be happy.

Great chappie! Thank god Joyce will be OK. That's good to know. And I loved all the scenes between Buffy and Spike and how they both decided it was OK to be together. I think they can make it work. At first I wanted him back with Buffy2 but I think this will be better..no baggage and no guilt for all the hurt in their past.

I was worried about reading this one, because I was afraid Spike would feel so abandoned and depressed that he had lost the chance to be with the girl he suffered with and loved for so long, and then be froced to watch an earlier version of Buffy look at him in disgust and treat him cruelly before she got used to him. I'm so glad I took the chance!

This last chapter was very nice, addressing their feelings and Spike's past before getting involved, actually thinking about it and talking about it to save from heartache and confusion later. Loved the descriptions of the different types of lovemaking. Great job!

Author's Response: I'm just mush over Spike, so I'd never be that mean to him. :D And I really wanted them to talk for once and, though their lovemaking will always have that element of rawness and violence, there would always also have been that tenderness if Buffy had only permitted it. Wow this had me crying for Spike. I feel so bad for him, now he knows how much Buffy really loved him and he can't have her. It's too sad. I can just see him in his crypt crying and drinking himself to oblivion. I'm glad the Scoobs are treating him better, and Buffy wants him to help and be her partner. But then she turns around and acts all bitchy toward him cause he helped. I guess she can't deal with the way Spike feels for other Buffy and that he has a soul. She better get off her high horse soon, and stop being so damn obtuse.Arrgh.
