they’re atleast starting to let their mutual respect show. i’m enjoying thinking-buffy as well. and i can’t imagine giles not informing buffy about other various warriors in the world. even with his love of buffy and his duty to the council, i would think he’d eventually see the world-saving as more important. it seems kinda strange to not have willow and xander be a big part of the story/plans, etc. but it’s also really nice to see buffy really take charge. and here’s to hoping spike truly acknowledges that he doesn’t want buffy dead. looking forward to more!

Author's Response: This isn't a very Giles-friendly fic, I admit., at least so far... And Willow and Xander are kept out of the loop, also so far. Buffy both wants to keep them safe and hide her friendly thing with Spike.
