a great update! Spike and Buffy are thinking about the other more and more... love it! and i was laughing at the part where Giles said Spike's doing something evil, when in the next moment we read what they are really doing :D
loved it! and when she left for the fight he was worrying again and awaiting for her return...at the one side some funny game and in the next moment we see again the seriousness of the situation they are in.

How does Buffy stay away from Spike when he's all naked? How does she stay away period? I know there is that line she can't cross without getting hurt (I think I read it's still there), but I would say ignore the pain to touch him. Death would be worth it. Jack needs to have his ass put in the ring with Spike, then he'll see that he shouldn't have taunted him or threatened Buffy. I bet he shit his pants when Spike grabbed for him.
Author's Response: Believe me, Buffy is very confused with all these thoughts and feelings about Spike, as his for her. Don't ask me how she kept away as long as she did in Joss' world. I would of told him to rewrite the scenes back in Season 2, to get kissy with him!!!

Love how Spike attacked the crass guard for spewing out sleazy comments about Buffy. Spike in the shower is a yummy wake up call. Love the way he's sneaked into her subconscious and her conscious self. Can't say I'd be able to think about anything else if I had Spike that close and couldn't touch. Pretty amazing. Author's Response: I loved writing that dialog! I totally pictured their faces when I wrote it. Spike with his typical smug look. Buffy, at first being embarrassed, then saying something to save face. Classic Spike and Buffy interaction. No prob on reading my mind, like I said before Great minds think alike!
