It was good that they talked about their fears (Buffy's), otherwise things could have been wrong. But they talked I think that made a difference - they are still at ease with one another. Things are really good at the moment.

Holy hot and cold emotions! What did they do to each other that they act like they can't stay away from each other but are scarred by past bad experiences. Whatever baggage they are lugging around, it must have been really hurtful to still sting for so long. Loved the intimate moments, lets hope they don't muck it all up!

Author's Response: Go back and read chapter eight. It witl tell you exactly what happened between them. Buffy carried the baggage for the most part, but they both were to blame. I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. I have chapters written ahead, so you won't be stuck with WIP, and I update every Wed.. There will be drama of course, but I'm a Spuffy girl through and through. :)
