I just started reading, and was able to catch up with the chapters of this fic, and I must say, this chapter is one of my faves.

It's so heartbreakingly sad, and written very well, and done so subtly. The chapter is very quiet, if that makes sense, and as a reader, that quietness and subtlety helps the pain they're feeling really come across.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the kind words! I've known a lot of people who've had miscarriages. It's a private kind of pain, and I didn't want to write it big and dramatic. Thank you for the describing the scene as "quiet." I think that's perfect, and never would have come up with it myself.

Such a sad and sweet chapter! It was beautifully done. Definitely different take on coping with a miscarriage than other stories that I have read. Definitely refreshing and I'm glad that it didn't tear them apart. I'm curious as to how Dawn will react to all this. Brattiness, indifference, or concern. Can't wait to find out!
