Really sweet chapter! I love how he's so open and honest with her and she's just taking it all in. Being a teenager can be very difficult at times and having somebody to talk to who is supportive is always such a help. Hopefully Xander will realize that!

First off, I have no issues with him being bi-sexual. You are attracted/ love who you are attracted/love, that's that. Labels are for jars and boxes not people. (Sorry, I know this part belonged on the last chapter). Secondly, I'm glad Will is confiding in Buffy. Even though Xander is gay, he seems sort of closed minded himself. Looking forward to more.

I think this chapter did a great job. Although I don't know how smoothly a converstation would be, as seeing as I'm a woman but explain it either of my parents was harder for myself than it was for them to accept.. But on the other hand. I do see Xander's issue with it. Very well it seems as if you have both sides of a situation possible in the story. Keep up the amazing writing :) I'm enjoying this story so much I keep praying for updates :)

Author's Response: I'm glad you think so. Like the last chapter, I revised it about twenty times to make sure it didn't sound stupid. Xander and Will are both dealing with their sexuality in very different ways. I think these days, even with homosexuality being accepted, and almost sensationalized, by the media, it's still extremely difficult for teens to deal with. I'm glad you like it so much! I just wanted to be a positive voice for Spike's bisexuality. I know that not everyone is supportive of a potentially controversial storyline like this, but I'm very happy you decided to take this on. I have many different friends of all types: straight, homosexual, bisexual, queer, transexual, all great wonderful people. People can't always help who they are or who they love. Things are not always straight-forward as straight and homosexual. To be cliche, just like how a rose can be many different colors, sexuality can be just as diverse. And congratulations & kudos to all those people who are brave enough to be who they are despite societies pressures.

I've been expecting to learn that Spike is bi while wishing for it not to actually be true. The only way I can handle it is not hearing any details about any of Spike's homo or even hetreo relationships. A mention in passing but no details please!

Author's Response: Well, keep in mind that the story is exclusively from Buffy's POV, so anything like that will just be in talked about. Just to address the bi thing, personally I feel that it doesn't really matter either way because when he and Buffy fall in love it will be the real thing. And anyone he was with before doesn't mean anything anymore, woman or man. But, anyway, I'm glad you're still reading! Thanks for the review!

I think it fits to make Spike bisexual because it makes it a nice foil for both Xander and Buffy's growth. it is sad that Xander is closing himself from everyone, hopefully eventually he'll realize how lucky he is!
