I like the feeling in this story, but has it been 4 years since season 7? I thought it was a bit over 2 years. Anyway it's good to read how Spike and Buffy tries to work together and be just friends when they have all this feelings and issues.

Author's Response: A good question. I think I was going by something I saw recently on LJ about the comics being four years long - which doesn't mean that's how much time has passed for Buffy, of course. I'll have to research it and see if anything definitive is said about how long it's been between Chosen and Issue #40. Thanks for pointing that out. Although, I'm not sure there is going to be something definitive out there if I try to mesh Buffy with Angel comics and the comics with the TV shows...
