That was my problem too - spam related. But not everyone got through. The old one have the email address "Thehookupzone". Maybe that's why; switched to Googlemail now and all of a sudden these don't have a sender listed. The Update email has.

Love how she's slowly letting the world back in and breaking out of her shell. He started that, even if she is trying to push him away. Trying to minimize him. I've got to wonder now, that I'm my third time though this chapter if her breaking the door knob is a bit more than just normal freaked out flight response. Is she no longer a potential anymore? Or am I reading way to much into a weak door knob? And poor Anya and her hooker etiquette dilemma. I want to believe that she's waited too long to take our girl out, but nothing is ever simple for these people. I just hope that Spike swings around again before Buffy convinces herself that she doesn't care so very deeply about him. Still ready for more! Update soon, and if you don't before Christmas, have a great holiday!!

Author's Response: Black coffee? *shudder of revulsion* lol But I like to create these details for characters, such as (dis)likes, and this version of Buffy seemed to me like someone who'd enjoy black coffee. Got to agree with your view on how Spike was the catalyst for Buffy's rise in self-confidence. You read the chapter three times? That makes me very giddy! :D I'm not saying anything about the doorknob thing though. mainly just because I like to leave the reason behind it to your imagination. ;) Ah, Anya. The doorknob thing was very unfortunate. *g* I can assure you that a visual like that will stay with her. But it wouldn't be Buffy if she didn't tease Hank about it.
She doesn't really trust Anya more, it was more about coming to trust her in a way she'd only ever trusted two other people (Spike and Hank). :)

Another beautiful chapter. The tampon story was so funny but at the same time heartbreaking and symbolic. There was so much lovely language, too, like when you say he's swimming through honey. The imagery was vivid and disturbing. I loved this. Hope you're not overwhelmed by university work and soon find a lucky fellow to perform the foot massage.

Poor Buffy missing her Spike. Shame he couldn't have taken her with him while he visits with the fam. Such an interesting trigger, that necklace. Something on which they can both fixate on for completely different similar reasons. I'm sure there is magic in there, just not sure what it all means. One more month of translation, I wonder if he will be able to stay away from her, or if she could open up that weird link of there's and track him down. Or maybe they do make it. So much more to muddle thru. Update soon!

Author's Response: She totally does, but she's too stubborn to admit it to herself. And also, a bit pissed at him, which is understandable. The separation was necessary for the plot to progress but it won't be too long before 'fate' pulls them together again. ;) The necklace is important, more than either of them realises, so we'll see how it will be all revealed. She can't track him down, she can only see his memories. The ones she dreamt. :) Thank you for reading and reviewing!!! I appreciate it muchly.

Enjoyed the mix of Dru and Eline.. And if Eline can "feel" Spike what else can she sense? Does she know about Buffy's dreams of she and Dru.. nice plot..

Ah, the weapon. Can't tell you, but I think the reveal should be quite interesting.
So happy to hear you liked that part! :) The connection between them isn't as literal, it's more metaphorical. The way twins usually are more aware of each other than regular siblings, only slightly heightened for the purpose of this story.
