that's what she thinks? that he left because he didn't want to be with her again? seems like no matter what incarnation buffy is still slow on the uptake about what spike wants. still this was sooo great. i'm soo gonna be late this morning, but it's def worth it :)

Author's Response: Well, he did reject her repeatedly and never told her why, so it makes sense she'd think he didn't want to be with her again.I'm sorry to make you late!

Enjoyed another person's perpective of how Kara is slightly isolated and keeps many secrets. Can't wait to read Kara and Billy meeting again!

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and commenting!

I'm pretty sure I left a composed review of this. I love the drama created by the separation between them. 2 creatures so drawn to each other. It is truly beautiful. i do hope they cross paths in this art installation, because separation will likely only work to destroy them. I do love it. Please, update soon!

Author's Response: Thank you!

Wondering why Billy felt the need to stay out of touch with Kara? Awesome chapter! Can't wait for more!

Author's Response: He was afraid anything he said would spark her memories and he didn't want to cause her any pain.

I love your plot choices :) Love the character of plotting and how she "did the math" to ascertain why Kara still has her V-card.

And to have William channel his creativity into a neo steampunk venture? Bloody brilliant, that is! Made me grin very big! I love the hipster art snob touch to Constantine too :D

I adored the one-two punch of Josh's kiss. First recognizing that Will=Spike and the very NEXT realization - that she'd died. "Would you like another helping of what-the-hell-just-happened?" Awesome!

Author's Response: Thank you!!!!!!!I also was completely not specific on what William's art looked like. I mark it as a huge success you projected steam punk into the mix.

Aww pooh, Billy left to do a good thing and she got something totally different out of it. Understanble though, it is Buffy all the way. Kara is so sweet doing so much good. I love how she had a childhood this time and was still able to do so much good.
I wonder how Billy is going to act seeing Kara again, I wonder if he and Tara will tell Kara now that she knows.
I wonder when Tara dies is she going to be Billy's and Kara's child. I know totaly random. Having one of those moments.

Author's Response: I'm glad that you like she had a childhood this time around. I tried to imply it was a nice one, too, with loving parents and good friends. All will be revealed in the next chapter!

A simply lovely chapter. I liked how it started from the point of view of Poppy looking at the enigma that is Kara/Buffy. So sad that Billy/Spike chose to to pull himself away and left her feeling like it was her fault, I'm not sure it was not his intention. Can't wait until they're reunited again.

Author's Response: Thank you! Glad you liked the outside perspective on Kara/Buffy. My friend was looking through a two-thousand-ten baby book and Poppy was determined to be one of the coolest names you could give your daughter. I thought it would be funny to use it, seeing as our Poppy would be the right age to have a mom influenced by that book.

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm glad it was unexpected.

Let me just say that you are an amazing writer. I feel like I'm listening to some of my cousins of indie friends when I read your work. There are just so many big, important words and I usually just super impressed by how articulate you are. It is honestly like reading a book and not fanfic. Let me just say among other things I completely loved the reference to CSI: Miami fanific! This chapter was exceptional! Absolutely and completely!

Author's Response: You're so sweet! I'm glad it feels like you're listening to your friends talk when you read one of these stories. Big, important words? I'd like to thank thesaurus.com. I leave it open when I write.

I've waited so long for your update and im a little bit dissapointed that Spike is not in this chapter. The mystery is killing me. 9 yrs is tooo long to stay away....

Author's Response: Spike will be in the next chapter. Thanks for the comment.

Author's Response: Also, this story has been up less than a week and I've posted three times so far. I'm glad it feels like a long time! That's a huge compliment!

Love the isolation, and how she's made it into a bit of a dirty secret, her secret fascination with Billy. I wonder what exactly is going on in his head as she's pondering what he's up to. I can only hope that they are both at this art exhibition. Update soon!

Author's Response: Thank you! I can tell you he will definitely be at the art exhibit.
