Loved this fic! Great characterization and great plotting. Thank you for handling the Riley break up with such logic and respect! Character bashing and OOC characterizations are the bane of my fan fic reading existence, so I was thrilled that you did none of that in your story, especially in regards to Buffy's treatment of Riley, who I don't hate but don't love either :). I love that you didn't have Spike immediately get all mushy over Buffy after he was re-merged because he, imho anyhow, would still be wary and suspicious of her, and it keeps the "enemy" tension thick for a bit, which makes their lovey dovey payoff that much more satisfying for me! Plus, you were able to incorporate Out of My Mind and make that make out scene at the end real! Ahhhh, love that so much! Great stuff, will definitely definitely be reading more of your work :).

I really try to be as accurate as I can with characterizations. I try to stay true to the character, but at the same time sway them just a little to get them to do what I want!! LOL!!! I'm glad that came through. I agree. I don't particularly hate Riley, I just feel that he and Buffy weren't right for one another. I would love to read how you feel about my other stories.
