Poor Spike and his rookie mistake. I find his track record quite interesting here, too. Is he souled when he kills a slayer in 1977? I'm sure you will tell us, but the question does make me wonder. Still an enigma that has made a home in Buffy's heart, even if he did trash it. (Great analogy!) Can't help who you love.

Author's Response: Hehe, yes... explanations will happen eventually, but for now, I think Spike just wants to keep some of that stuff to himself.
