I really loved the conservation with Dawn. Great idea to not only have twins but to use Spike’s soul! I think the BuffyBot could end up being a wonderful nanny for them. She would have the patience to answer all their questions and have the strength and stamina to keep up with them because I’m thinking they are going to have some kind of super powers. You know, I LOVE rollercoasters so much, but the crashing and burning on this one is really making me scream. Damn girl, you know how to bring on the hurt....this chappie hurt my heart..first the mention of 9-11(I live in Fl, but was born and raised in Manhattan , so this still hurts my heart) but LOVED that Spike blew up the Watcher's Council! Yay!
Buffy and Spike continue to make me pull my hair out, but mostly Buffy, I don't know why she just doesn't tell him. Really how much worse can it get than what's happening now? I guess with her PTSD she can't tell that he's hurt and jealous cause he.. THINKS YOU SLEPT WITH SOME OTHER GUY BUFFY! Oh man.

The bot was cute as usual ...loved her cooking LOL.

The end ripped my heart to little bitty shreds, I cried when Spike broke sown crying. I can't deal with Spikey being in that much pain. Hopefully this will be the kick in the pants Buffy needs to talk to him. Or maybe Marie-lise knows a good psychiatrist. Anything, plz.

Love that she's having twins tho, that's amazing. How does Buffy know the other is a boy? God knows how her mind works. :)

Author's Response: Hey AMI! They totally ignored 9-11 on the show, which I get, and I typically do too, but I sort of needed it for later (cos I wanted to keep them from taking a plane). I live in Florida too, but have visited NY several times, including the Towers. It was heartbreaking on so many levels. Glad you liked Spike blowing up the Council, tho! I could totally see him doing that - just for starters! :)

Yeah, I definitely think that Buffy's mind is a bit muddled with the PTSD and the lies (to herself and Spike) have sort of taken on a life of their own for her. Someone may come along and point this out to her soon. :O

oh, man, {cuddles Spike}. I added that bit with him and the Bot at the last minute. Originally the chapter stopped with Buffy on the couch. PaganBaby wanted to reach through the computer and throttle me for that scene. eeeek! {{'You know I hate it when Spike cries!!'}} I told her I was adding it 'cos I didn't want anyone too mad at Spike. She noted near the beginning of that scene, when he's being all grr-argh with the kisses, that she didn't think that was helping people not be mad at him! LOL! My evil muse saw another chance to twist the angst-knife and he couldn't resist it. Plus, wanted to make it clear that Spike did not do what Buffy thought.

Buffy will share her theory on the boy/girl twins in the next chapter. I promise there will be some highs to balance this out. It'll start off slowly, but build up to happiness. :P

ARGHHH! My God those two are so frustrating. They can never just sit down and talk. they just go on misunderstanding each other. Buffy needs some serious therapy..she has PTSD and can't stand to be touched, but doesn't realize it. And of course Spike just keeps blaming himself and drowning in guilt. :( Oh I'm just so sad for them both.

I hope that Buffy doesn't decide to leave, cause I think Spike will let her go.
The Bot tried to help bless her mechanical little heart, but she really doesn't know how and made it worse.Buffy,TALK to Spike please. And the same goes for Spike...stubborn, adorable vamp.

Oh you have seriously ripped my heart out with this chappie...so sad, so well written, so angsty. Poor Spike thinking that Buffy thinks he's a monster and Buffy thinking Spike sees her as "dirty" now. :( they both suffer from serious miscommunication ARGHHH!
Spike is so full of self hatred and guilt and Buffy is too. How will they get past this? At least the Bot made it a little bit better. I loved the Hae-won bit. LOL... a dolphin! *snerk*
The good thing is that Buffy is lucid again, and it looks like Spike at least won't think Mr. Disgusting Bastard is the father, it has only been 3 days since she was taken and rescued and she was already talking about a baby, so at least he won't think DB is the dad(I hope) But like you said he'll think Buffy is pregnant with some other guy's kid so the angst is gonna go sky high again. :( Oh your evil, evil muse just won't give up on the angst huh? It's ok, this kind I can deal with..it's when they're being hurt and tortured that I dislike.

Spike will realize that the DB is not the father, so that is one problem out of the way ... one down, a few more to go! There will not be any more physical hurting or torture in the near future - all emotional, as they work their way through the mine-field they've laid out for themselves.

I can’t begin to express how intense this chapter was; first I was feeling so sorry for the BuffyBot and then for Spike and now finding out how broken Buffy is from the abuse she’s been subjected to by Weatherby – I’m exhausted from reading this one. I hope your evil muse plans on Buffy being able to return and have her vengeance against Weatherby and the entire Council of Wankers. I know there will be more angst to come but please don’t let it interfere with the Spuffyness for too long.
