I am so afraid that Spike will end up turning to the Bot even for just comofort (not sex) and Buffy will take that as further evidence that he can't touch her because she is "dirty". I am afraid she is going to run and if Spike is still in this frame of mind he might just let her go.

Author's Response: Hey All4Spike, The angst will not be reduced for a few chapters, it will get worse before it gets better. The Council may well still be looking for Buffy - someone has reported her as being unstable and they want to contain her, the establishment higher-ups probably feel they could help her. They don't have any other truly 'active Slayer' so they need her or they won't have anything to do but twiddle each other. (according to what Spike says later). Will have more soon! Most people think Spike should've done more to Weatherby, but my muse has been known to go overboard with the gore, so when my beta reader was utterly squicked by what I first had Spike do (rip all Weatherby's danglies OFF), I scaled it back. Spike will come back to him, however - don't worry. Glad you like the Bot, she's been a wonderful addition to the story. First the convo between BB and the cop was hilarious, and then between her and Sucker. LOL. Thank god the Bot is in this story cause the angst can be overwhelming and she makes things a little better.

Good scene at the Watcher's HQ with the guards and the escape too. BB really channelled our Buffy. :)

OMG poor Buffy I hate to think what that bastard did to her. and I have a feeling that even Spike won't be able to get her back for a long while.
I hate when Spike doubts himself like this, and thinks he's no good for Buffy and that she's better off with Capt. Broodypire. NO, NO, NO! Angel sucks and he probably called the Council, or maybe Giles did. We will find out right? Whoever did deserves to suffer and feel guilty forever! Wanker!

BTW I loved what the Bot did to Weatherby. I wasn't squicked at all. I thought he got off lightly. What was the original plan that PB thought was too squicky? I hope when Spike catches up to him later that he implementsi it and MORE. *evil laff*

It's funny in the last review you thought Weatherby should have his balls ripped off, cos that's what I had Spike tell the Bot do in my first version. (and she did, very well!) That's what PB thought it was too gory and squicky. Of course *that* I described in all it's beautiful, bloody, gruesome detail. So, I scaled it back, but Spike will return to exact more vengeance on him later.

Oh, I love Spike as all evil and William the Bloody too! - of course, all done in the name of love. It'st just ... YUM. Glad you liked it. And the Bot - she really has saved this story from being a pure angst-fest. Glad you like her!

BB did a great job acting like Buffy with the guards at the Council. Credit to Spike's good prep-work. :)

We will find out who called the Council, but it will be a while. I'm pretty sure there will be some level of Karma-ish payback.

Spike's self-doubt will continue to rear it's ugly head for a couple of chapters as he struggles to find a way to help Buffy. He's got such a soft heart inside, poor Spikey.

The scene between Buffy and the Bot may be the best yet! It’s amazing how Buffy’s mind works (or not) isn’t it? I knew from the title to be very afraid when I read this chapter and man was I right!! Thanks for another exciting chapter and your well wishes.

Damn girl your good. That song at the end was such a perfect accompament to this chapter. Now the question of how to explain Buffy's pregnancy has been answered although of course in error. The new question is will Buffy be able to come out of this new comatose like state. Thank you for at least making sure Mr. Slime got at least his balls smashed but I so look forward to his death for the man needs to die. Buffybot was awesome; she literally saved the day. Loved the beginning...Buffy giving lessons to the Bot was so cute. Loved the Bot turning the tables on Buffy about Spike's tongue leer. lol And the penis line was priceless.

OMG Buffy is so frustrating..what goes on in her mind, seriously? First she's leaving, then she;s mad at Spike cause she thinks he's lying to her. Meanwhile she's been lying all this time.

Buffy is frustrating! I watched S6 again recently and it was all 'come here - go away - get over me - don't get over me so fast' . I mean, geez, woman! I think that, if this hadn't happened, Buffy probably would've not left him. She keeps putting it off, and putting it off ... I think she would've just put it off so long that he would've known and she would've had to have come clean. But yeah, double-standards seem to be her thing.

I’m having trouble typing with injured fingers (thinking of the stupidity that caused the injury is the most painful) so this will be a short review. This was a very, very hot chapter; my husband would love it but if I let him read it I’m sure I’ll have to fight him for computer time in the future!! Once again great dialogue with the Bot! Poor Buffy! I'm glad they didn't kill Weatherby - yet. He deserves to suffer and for his actions to become known. Spike will have the bot to help him with Buffy - and he knows how to tend to damaged women after all his time with Dru. I have faith in him. Of course he is going to assume that the child is Weatherby's, unless Buffy finally explains about Dawn.

And the pregnancy will add another layer of frustration and angst to the mix, as well. His ability to deal with damaged women will be tested, as will his patience and his status as 'Love's Bitch'. And you are right, he's not gonna assume the baby is *his* since that would be ridiculous, so that will bring in even more emotional turmoil. Let the angst begin.
