Oh my, that was a heavy chapter. Spike's very angry now, and I can understand why. Hopefully Buffy did help him to get calmer... Well, looking out for more!

Smoldering, mindless passion - poor Buffy and Spike. I like the way you handled his rage at Willow and Buffy's acknowledgement of her own anger at the witch, while also recognizing that her mission is to protect even those who don't deserve it. I like the way you brought Buffy around to finally understanding Spike's thinking when she beat him in the alley. It works so well here because in some ways, the fight and catharsis is one of the few things that is uniquely Buffy's to give. I continue to love this story and as always, look forward to more!
