I know it's been a long time since you wrote this, and even if you don't keep up with reviews or this fandom (?) any more (not sure if you do or don't).I just needed to respond to your fic. It was
'recced' when someone was searching for it on the new fic-search forum here on The Spuffy Realm. I'm so glad someone else wanted to find it, as the description caught my interest too, and I had the opportunity to read it also. I'm not a huge fan of AH fics, only excellent ones, and especially ones that are in keeping with the themes addressed within the series. I feel you did an excellent job of this, converting those issues and incidents over to an AH and unique setting, keeping the situations and ideas fresh and original, yet still managing to incorporate several key points and themes from the BtVS series world, as well as the specific characters involved. You did a great job of working the characters and personalities into the storyline, of course most specifically William/Spike, Buffy, and Faith, though also those of Dru, Angel and Angelus. I loved the cameo at the end of Willow and Tara.
You did a wonderful job of addressing fairly socially 'taboo' (though what is really taboo any more?) issues, while walking a fine line between being apologetic and non-apologetic as far as from the character's viewpoints; and in the end, they themselves accepting each other for exactly what they were, what they are and will yet become, and working with it unapologetically was a bold move that paid off. It made a bold statement, IMHO, not often seen in fluffy fanfic, itself unique, and perhaps seen too seldom in current fanfic; not everything herein ended up fluffy bunnies and balloons (save those for the baby's nursery!) as depicted by Faith's harsh death and Buffy and William's choice to somewhat appease 'Spike's" dark-ish side from time to time when necessary, be it in a more contained & controlled, safer manner. The theme of "Inner Demons", and actually showing them as something plausible, was fresh and appreciated.
I enjoyed it immensely. I couldn't put it down! And, I was sorry to see it come to a close. Fanfic needs more like this still. Thank you very much for writing this one. I can't rec it enough.

Gotta say, when I first started reading this tale, I was kinda shocked (just cause you write much hotter than I read) but I quickly got into the story and the incredibly HOT sex between William and well.... everybody! I found myself, "lusting" after more of this total wicked tale and then found myself laughing and crying as well, then you managed to get that totally sweet/sexy proposal!. The only weird thing was picturing Gunn and Wes raping someone - just didn't fit with my imagination of what those two are like (Angelus doing it was not a problem), but I truly enjoyed the story, after all, it's your tale, not mine so I'm certainly not saying anything bad, just different than what I would of though! The ending was touching (especially the tombstone). Thanks for sharing. It was awesome!

::I hope I did the story justice with this ending ::: Yes, I think you did. Loved the line on the Line: "Little Girl Lost Has Finally Found Peace" . And Spike and Buffy being a family now.

Very cool. Love the proposal and the ending. As "cheesy" as most people find happy endings to be, I think these two have earned it. Thanks for a great story.

Wonderful ending! I really enjoyed this story (although, I have to admit, I was expecting Riley to show up since he was just MIA, but I'm glad he didn't). Great job and I'll definitely be checking out more of your work when I get a chance.
