Wow, when Giles had his talk about how Joyce was hurting too, I felt a bit of sympathy for her. But to confront her COLLEGE age daughter about birth control pills...well, that was just insane. I am now thinking she is an a, number one bitch and doesn't deserve a relationship with Buffy.

The woman is delusional. "I trusted you alone with Buffy"??? Um, no you really didn't. Buffy was living on her own and supporting herself, and was asked to take in Spike to help him out. He did not rape her daughter, he fell in love with her.

I hope they leave, because Joyce is obviously intent on spoiling their holiday. I'm looking forward to the next chapter, which will undoubtedly already have Buffy packed and ready to go when Spike gets upstairs!!

Don't know how I missed the updates on this one. I love where you're going with this. I love how you've bult these characters into individuals who have faults, but are still able to love and are lovable...well, maybe not Joyc, but I have hope for her still. Thanks for the update. Looking forward to more.

Well that was a full emotional roller coaster of all possible emotions. And seriously, Buffy is in her twenties and living on her own, where on earth does Joyce think she has any right at all to deam Buffy fit for sex. My goodness that woman has some serious issues here. Now, as for the very pleasant reconciliation that Buffy had with Spike earlier, it was sweet and likely, and very true to our favorite and feisty couple. With quite the mavelous ending. And I wonder how Buffy will react to Spike's confession and to being thrown out of the house... Darn you for ending the chapter there! Please, hurry with the next one.

Oh my goodness!!!! An amazing chapter really! The fighting was so intense and the finding out it was him! ekk! Keep up the great work!

I've never read a chapter that actually had made me feeling physically tense afterwards. Guess it's just a testament to your awesome talent. I really do not like Joyce in this story, which is a first for me I think. Everyone always make Joyce out to be the ideal mother but they never show us her faults. Even though I wanted to throttle the woman by the time I finished this chapter, I have to say that this story is one of the best in portraying how fragile a mother/daughter relationship can be. I really hope they can make peace. Thank you for the update.

So the ravaging cat is out of the bag! I truly do feel sorry for Bufffy because her mother is being a downright bit-- not good person. Either way, I love how Spike protects her and stands by her. I truly can't wait for another update! Awesome job!

God, she's such a bitch. I don't know what the hell her problem is, but if I were them, I would just leave. I wouldn't want a mother like that. There's no getting through to her and saying that them being together is sick? That's just not right. The woman has some issues, all I'm gonna say. Anyway, I'm glad to see an update to this. Hope for more soon=)
