For the reconciliation, I hope you can squeeze in a moment where the two of them are taking a bath together, that would be so sweet! I can just picture it now with Buffy nestled between Spikes legs and he's kissing her neck and shampooing her hair *dreamy expression* Keep up the excellent work, this story is my absolute favourite.

Wow, poor Spike. Lots to get over losing his love. Breaks me up all over again. And that conversation she had with Robin, well that didnt quite seem like the whole truth either. Can't wait to see where either of Buffy's "relationships" goes. Another marvelous chapter.

Okay I was wrong.. Buffy did indeed invite Robin before she knew that Spike would be there. I thought Dawn did tell her before. Yeah I know.. if it had been for me Buffy and Spike would be together by now, madly in love. If it wasn’t so hard to read till it is finished / better aka Spuffy again, it’s better to have longer stories.. if I had my will it would be finished, right? :p Yeah, right.

Wood was sensitive. He noticed Buffy behavior and he asked her, and Buffy an-swered. What I did notice: HE didn’t freak out because Buffy was ‘dating’ Spike who is her ‘stepsibling’. I wonder if it will get so bad like Buffy feared and broke up. He (Wood) doesn’t want to get hurt by Buffy, with her being in love with someone else. But isn’t he right on his way to it? Being hurt? Wood wasn’t grossed out about the step thing. Maybe (hopefully) Buffy will see now that she acted overhasty. *points to not all puppies and rainbows*

What I don’t understand: Buffy said she ‘dated Spike’ for a year. Maybe it’s me missing a definition but she is dating Wood now. Buffy was (is still hopefully, yet to stubborn to acknowledge it) in love with Spike, she was living with him, Spike wanted to marry her ~ I think / I would it call more than ‘dating’. Maybe Buffy is still in denial or she doesn’t tell Wood deliberately. Whatever it is… I don’t like Buffy still dating him, it’s so sad. (See above and ignore me. I now that his name is Robin but I stick with calling him Wood.) like…
Wood: “I don't want to try to start something here with your heart belong-ing to someone else.” Buffy: “Spike and I are as over as two people can be.” and “I didn't want to run back into his arms”
Yeah.. therefore Buffy is crying her eyes out at the end of the chapter.
If I read it right Buffy hasn’t slept with Wood yet. And if she finds his kisses good but not mind-blowing like Spike’s she should think about it more than twice. Be-cause she’ll have to live with second best for the rest of her life. A thing I would hate. It’s time to wake up for Buffy, come out of denial.
This was unexpected but welcome: Spike called. Apparently Spike thought a lot of Buffy this day. I wonder since when he has the phone number (oh it wasn’t a cell phone so he should have it from Dawn, must be her number too).
Oh my.. Buffy wanted to avoid to kill Spike’s career and almost was the reason that Spike killed himself with drugs and alcohol. Oh my indeed. So fame hasn’t 's been all puppies and rainbows for Spike and almost killed him. I’m glad he was able to tell it Buffy. Does Eve know? It’s good to hear that he doesn’t drink to deal with his problems and isn’t taking drugs, but when he said that he learned to live without Buffy it makes me sad. *sigh*
And even more the reminder that Eve is there in his home, probably right in his bed. Why should she be at another place than his bed, in a guestroom? Yeah.. :(
And know he is going back to her. Eve was not the first of his lovers after Buffy but the longest one. I must stop now it makes me to sad to think through it fur-ther.
I wonder if Spike noticed that Buffy cried at the phone.
She was devastated after the phone call. I don’t know what hurt her the most: Spike telling he stopped loving her, Spike going back to sleep with Eve now, Spike not so worried then she was about the ‘step’ thing so maybe her sacrifice was totally for nothing, only hurting them both.
As far as I see it it’s time now for Buffy to come back out of denial, grow up a bit, not to hurt Wood too and start fighting for Spike. Why take second best? If he wants her back… He is not telling if he loves her. The contrary. The way Buffy acts you see that she still loves him but I can’t see yet if Spike does. I only no-ticed that Spike phoned Buffy so Eve didn’t hear it. But you could argue that he didn’t want Eve to be hurt and speak with Buffy without interruptions.

Clings to her mantra *Addie will make it alright and Dawn’s remark: I don't think he loves her. Not really anyway* … very hard. And it got long again, huh? I had to mix what I wrote yesterday evening with the one I wrote this morning and this afternoon. I hope it makes sense. Maybe parts are double, sorry about that. More on Tuesday, right? I’m looking forward to it. In a way I’m addicted to the story like crack lol. A good chapter, Addie, it got me rambling again. :-D

Brilliant...you actually made me cry with that one!

That was a fabulous 2 a.m. phone call-- Poor Buffy. Such a horrible feeling to still love someone and see them again. Logically, you want them to be happy with someone else, but it feels like your insides are being put through a cheese grater! You are doing such a great job of portraying the aftermath. To quote the Buffyverse, "Where do we go from here?" I wonder who is going to make the first move toward reconciliation. Wonder if Joyce or Giles will whisper words of wisdom in their kids' ears, or if it will be Dawn who brings them together.

He is making it so hard on Buffy. What is she going to do? You know that the phone call was the first of many. What is Spike thinking? We need something from his POV, maybe? It was a great chapter!

Excellent. Now fine tune those puppies (the 5 chaps) and post em right quick! I'm so certain they are going to get together again, but I'm on the edge of my seat here! A job well done on your part! I'm salivating for the next chap... and the next one.... and the next one.....

About time she got to know the full extent of his pain. She always just assumed he'd be relatively okay.

I still don't like Buffy. She's a coward. She's too concerned with what other people might think of her. She's self-centered and thinks she has the right to play with other people's lives, "for their own good". God, I hate that phrase.....Anyway, so far, I still don't think she's the best girl for Spike. Not rooting for Eve, either. It would be a girl that's still out there, and really right for where he is now.

Wow....I figured that may have happened to Spike. It was kinda mean of him to tell her all about it but he had to do it and she had to know...I'm not sure why but I'm really not liking Spike too much at the moment in this fic....I'm almost starting to like Robin some. Not sure who'll she'll end up with or how I'll feel but I can't wait to find out! You just keep me wanting more and more! Update soon please!
