Uh-huh.. Buffy was in dear need of soul food. Two ice cream containers? How long did it take her to eat them? I wonder how long she sat there and was (brooding?) sad. All in one day it seems.
I must say I’m very glad to hear from Dawn that neither Joyce nor Giles do like Eve. Maybe we should found a club of Eve ah.. haters? Maybe it exists *gg*. Yeah, not funny. I’m quiet again. ~ Good too if Dawn is right and their parents would accept a relationship between them now. ~ Yeah, that’s indeed hard for Dawn (but not only her). Like having her parents go through a divorce. If I remember right Dawn did know Spike better, Buffy didn’t grew up with him. Must be odd for her parents too. I just hope you can work things out to at least be civil. *grins* I hope for more but (like they seem to do) a start with friendship and grow back into love is good too. Oh joy... now Buffy thinks that maybe she didn’t do the right thing (breaking up with Spike). I wish she had seen that back then but at last she knows now. It’s time to make something with it. So much pain indeed, Buffy caused. Mostly her pain and Spike’s pain. Yet it effected more people then she thought of first.
Buffy things both of them moved on? Well Spike did for sure at last how I see it, from the outside. If he really did it? I don’t know. Dawn thinks he still feels for Buffy. And Buffy? She is dating Wood yet she didn’t go farer (only as I read it). Well I hope it won’t come to that *crosses fingers*. Hopefully Dawn will play matchmaker. Yet I don’t know… as long as Spike is with Eve it won’t work. He has to kick her out first.
It’s good to see Spike called again. Apparently Eve has gone again. Would he call Buffy when Eve was there? Yeah, I hope. But I don’t think so. I’m glad he called, especially that he said he had the urge to hear her voice again. That he missed talking to her. (I don’t have to mention that the thought makes me sad that for the longest time he wanted to talk to her when something happened but didn’t because they did break up, well Buffy did. But sadly that the way it mostly works if a couple breaks up. They are apart.) Good to see this urge (call Buffy) is back. Oh and Buffy has the same problem. So if they both deny it, there’s still hope for them. Spike did even make an innuendo again. He’s feeling more at ease again when talking to her after not doing it for three years *sigh* and feeling bitter. Flirting again, huh? Loved to see this, really did. Spike is interested what she did in these years. I think he was to bitter till now to ask. ~ Thank god they are really talking again. Maybe it starts to get better now *hopes very hard*.
This chapter didn’t leave me so sad like the last ones did. They missed so much.. they could have kids by now. No, I don’t really thinks they would. Buffy had to finish her school and Spike was working on his career. I wonder what will happen now. Sure I hope they’ll get to-gether soon now… but really? I don’t think you’ll make it quick (the story would end too soon then, right?). I’m still there, reading, as you can see. Looking forward to the next part. I think I’ll lurk around again till it’s time for you to update. :)

yay no more angst (well not really i hope its all up hill after this) i really liked this conversation on the phone it even made my stomach do flippys! all the waiting for that was sure worth it , it made it all the more special!

THEY LOVE EACH OTHER, WHY CANT THEY JUST SEE IT!!!!! i LOVE this story sooooo much and am soooo happy u updated. im glad that theyre talking to each other and that theyre flirting. i really hope that they start to talking to one another more often and that they get close again and get back together. also i really hope that spike breaks up with eve and that buffy stops seeing robin. please update as soon as u can, i cant wait to read more and see wat happens next. thanx

Dawn finally getting Buffy to open up was a bit painful, but it was interesting to read the family perspective on what Spike has been up to for the past three years. Dawn's comparison of the breakup as another divorce for her to endure was good, too, This flirting "friends" on the phone thing is fun.

Nice chapter. Spike seems drawn to Buffy on some level and it's obvious Buffy is still in love with him. Hopefully things will continue to get better! Looking forward to the next update!

OMG, you are so totally redeemed for all the evilness of having them wait 3 years. That conversation was absobloodylutely genius. I was 'there' in that conversation with them, felt 'everything', smiled along with Buffy, ahhhh sigh. Totally and completely a perfect way to kick things off. Soo... can we move along to the part where Eve gets hit by a bus? Like how Regina got hit by a bus in Mean Girls? That would be totally cool... but don't let her get hit until after Spike breaks up with her and totally shreds her to pieces. THEN you can get her hit. But don't make her die... make her wear a body cast for the rest of her life. Yeah, that should do it.

Nice chapter, a good way to lay the ground work for a hopefully future relationship between the 2. Gotta love how little resposibility Buffy is taking in all of this, she keeps saying "we" when really, it was all her doing, yea, Spike wasn't a gem at the time, but she chickened out of their relationship...it just frustrates me as Spike is lookin like the ass to his family and Buffy is seen as the victim in some sense. I just would like to see Buffy work for whatever relationship her and Spike could have, not have Spike makin all the moves.

I'm actually surprised he called. I wonder what will happen to their relationship as time goes by. Update soon please!
