Spike should really get rid of Eve! Great chapter!

Maybe Buffy should pick up a phone and call Spike for once.

alright, so i chickened out by not signing my name. but i am a very faithful follower of this story and have been since chapter one. but i gotta say---- 53 chapters written and its gotta be 51 that are pure angst!!!!!!!! are you serious with the torture here? throw us a bone. you almost lost me at the 3 year gap but i am sticking it out. i mean really --- i think that your fans have been really really patient through the continued torture of buffy being a complete idiot and the misunderstandings and separations but enough is enough.

Author's Response: And I think I've been very patient putting up with complaining reviews. If you have a problem with this story, then you don't have to read it, as I've said multiple times. I'm working on them getting back together, and yes, soon they will. But be patient, and let me write my story. I'm not going to rush the plot development, no matter how much people complain. This story is angst, I've said so from the beginning, so yeah, there's a lot of it. Why exactly are you pointing out the obvious?
If you're having a problem here, then you can even just stop reading for a few more chapters until it gets happier. I've already expressed that I don't particularly appreciate being harassed about the angst level, and the fact that you don't even have the courage to confront me with a name puts me off somewhat.

I hope that little incident with Eve opened his eyes a bit. I kinda wish in a small way that we could see what they were like before Eve's lil bitch session with Buffy at the party, cause I can't imagine Eve stirring up any feelings in Spike after this. I can't wait to see how this plays out.
