Tarded people!! You should know better than to doubt the the author, she is after all the one writing the story! OK, so calling people retards wont get the point across but still, don't doubt the person writing the story, unless its you! And its a great story at that! So, Eve's standing at Buffy's door, is she going to do her little song and dance of “he’s my boyfriend, stay away!” I’m glad Buffy came clean with Robin, he’s a good guy. And Spike told Buffy how he felt, something for her to think about and work on. As always thanks for a great Chapter!

Okay...playing scenarios in my head? Why would Eve be at Buffy's door? a) Spike's just dumped her, she blames Buffy & has come to give her bitchy 2 cents worth; b) She's tapped Spike's phone & is coming to tell Buffy to stop talking to her guy; c) Eve is a closet psychic & is coming to tell Buffy to stop talking to her guy. LOL! Personally, I'm hoping for choice A. No matter what happens, you can bet that Spike knows nothing of this little visit & it's all gonna backfire on Eve. Nanny nanny boo boo :P ! Can't wait for the next chapter. This is gonna be good!

"--And the light bulb has finally gone on for Buffy. I love the fact that all this time after their relationship ended that the ghosts of it are such constant companions. That kind of earth shattering love doesn't just end and cannot be something that a person re-enters without much debate and consideration. And I'm so proud of her for cutting Robin loose before he furthered muddled up things for her. I wonder what Spike would think of that little development. (I also hope she doesn't let that little fact slip with Eve. That would be all new kinds of hell breaking loose!) And the thought of another confrontation with Eve, that's all kinds of exciting, too. Maybe we'll learn a bit more about Eve's motives, cause it sure seems like she's got something going on... Loved the chapter. Loved the story. I love every phone conversation they have and can be very patient. Looking forward to the next.

I get what you say and i think the fic is just great as it is... it wouldn't feel real if they just got back together after all that happened between them, so congrats on another great chapter and i'm really looking forward to the next... chaito... :-)

Wow... where to start? This chapter is brimming with developments and there is all the flame nonsense to boot! I haven't had much time to read other reviews, but your detailed explanation at the end of the chapter piqued my curiosity so I went back a couple chapters. I'm really sorry that you have had to put up with all the craziness and just hope you know that there are many of us who just appreciate the fact that you take the time to share your work with us for our entertainment. That said, on to the chapter at hand...

Again, the oogy tummy feelings surface with the phone conversation. His apology for not calling the previous night tells her that she should expect a phone call every night going forward? And then the abrupt way he ended the call when she got upset at the topic? AHHHH... it's torture!!! But in a completely good way ;)

Very glad that Buffy decided to be mature about ending things with Robin and being as honest with him as she could be. It wouldn't have been fun to see him get hurt.

Now someone it would be very enjoyable to watch get hurt is Eve!! The rational part of me says that I would probably react the same way if my relationship felt threatened. But the Spuffy part of me thinks 'back off, be-yotch... Spike is for Buffy and Buffy alone!!". Can't wait to see where you take this impromptu visit by Eve.. (Believe me, I want to know that all is right with the Spuffy world right this instant, but please take all the time you need to get us there!)

On a personal note, I'm leaving for a two week vacation soon and was very relieved to find out today that at least my accommodations the second week have wifi access. *Packs laptop now* I wouldn't dream of logging on for work, but my Spuffy stories.....?? How could I possibly stay away, especially from this one??

Don't worry about people who say the time line is taking too long. I think your story is briiliant just as is. Think about how long relationships take? I think the waiting will be well worth it. Can't wait to read more.........hopefully soon (she begs so sweetly)

Wow...that was a lot to unload for Spike and Buffy! I wonder what will become of their relationship. Uh oh....Eve. She's not gonna jump Buffy or something is she? Or go crazy and try to threaten her or kill her? I wonder how Spike will feel when he finds out what Eve's been doing.

I can't wait for them to break up though. Even if he doesn't end up with Buffy I don't want him to end up with Eve. I just don't like Eve at all. Poor guy has no idea how she really is.

I do think Spike was a liitle unreasonable about Buffy being unsupportive. For the most part, she did try. She moved to another state and quit school temporarily for him. Not many people would give up their life and future for their partner. Some of the blame lies on him as well though in my opinion. He never told her and he could have once he figured out that she really didn't know to do it. INstead of going off to drink all the time, he could have went home and talked with her, but he didn't. Sure Buffy should have asked about more, but she tried in the ways she knew how to. I think they both had fault in the end of the relationship and pretty much neither can be blamed more than the other, but that's just my opinion.

Sorry bout the long message that probably seemed like it would never end. Hehe...I just love this story though! It's real life to me! Update soon please!

THANKS FOR THE LONG AUTHOR NOTE. I HOPE THAT BOTH BUFFY AND SPIKE WILL SPEND SOME TIME UNDERSTANDING HOW THINGS WENT WRONG BEFORE, MAYBE WITH AN IMPARTIAL THIRD PARTY PRESENT. I'M CHEERING FOR THE SPUFFY, TOO BUT I AGREE, IT SHOULD BE REALISTIC AND LONG TERM. THANKS FOR THE GREAT STORY

Personally, I think the tale is moving along perfectly. I agree, having them see each other and just fall into bed together with so much between them would be a disaster. He's with Eve (even if he's realizing he doesn't want to be) and Buffy ripped his heart out 3-years ago (not an easy thing to forgive even if you love someone) and they need to clear the air between before they can move forward - like Spike said, he knew Buffy loved him, but he wasn't sure she LIKED him. That's important. He doesn't just want a bed-mate, he wants everything - friend, confidant, lover - the whole 9 yards. If they would of talked all this out 3 years ago, they'd be together today. Now it's gonna take a ton of understanding and opening up to even feel like they can be together again. They love each other (and even though some are speaking in past-tense - it's still there) they both know they love each other, but right now... they can't be together, they need to go back and be friends first, they need to trust as weel as love. Yes the tale is angsty - but hey the entire series was angsty so what's new?

I have to say, I'm shocked at the reading some of the past "reviews" (and I use that term lightly). Come on people - it's a tale, a story, a work of fiction from the authors brain and imagination that is FREELY given to us for our entertainment. If you don't like how it reads or where it goes, or how long it takes to get there - dont' read or don't review, but don't flame the author cause you don't like something they wrote - it's THEIR tale. You don't like what they wrote, go write your own tale with your own imaginings. Read the warings and summaries - if it says their angst, and you don't like angst, don't read it - it's that simple.

Addie - I've read many of your tales and loved every single one of them, angst and all. My ideal tale is filled to the brim with sweet and smutty spuffy loving, but I also appreciate a wonderful plot filled with all the things that make a tale grand and you deliver that in spades. So for every "bad review" or "flame" you get, know that there are 10 times that many people out there enjoying your offerings and reading every word you write with relish! You are awesome! Thanks so much for sharing your phenominal talent and sticking to your guns with your plots! YOUR stories are incredible and anyone who doesn't appreciate your efforts should just "change the channel"

I love how you're slowly bringing Buffy and Spike back together. I am not one of those readers who think all the blame is Buffy's. Yes she broke them up but I really feel she felt she was doing it for Spike's career. On the other hand, how is Buffy supposed to know how Spike is feeling if he doesn't tell her? A lot of men don't usually show their feelings that well. Anyway, absolutely loved the chapter and this fic really rocks!
