I'm confused....I thought Spike wasn't drinking anymore but you mentioned at the club that they had some champagne. Isn't he a recovering alcholic?

Author's Response: He's no longer drinking to the point that he no longer has any control over himself. Dawn mentioned earlier that he still drinks in social situations, which is what this is, but not to the point of excess. He had one glass of champagne at the club with Buffy, which is drinking in moderation, something I feel Spike would be capable of here.

Oh clubbing :) neat indeed if you don't have to wait in the line. Oh and free champagne. Not so much for Spike but Buffy did enjoy it. That did not only make her feel buzzed, it did make her feel bold too. Oh they make a hot pair when dancing... I wonder if thy got noticed. I mean in the sense of noticed by the yellow press. Yeah, three years had been too long. Three wasted years. I really hope they did learn in that time to make their life better now. Lol seems as if Dawn guessed right, they are under a lot of pressure now after three years. *grins* So it is no wonder that it was too much for Spike when Buffy told him that she wears no underwear. I don't know what sounds better.. Buffy in Spike's arms where she belongs or Spike and Eve are over :)
Yeah, Spike has more money now and lives in a better environment. I wonder where they will live later.. there where Spike is now? It seems more protected then their old apartment. So Quentin was stealing? Then he was fired because of this and not what he told Buffy, this was earlier then getting caught I think. ~ So they want to start over now. I hope Buffy will never try to run away now; well she knows now what she will lost and that she couldn't bear it in the past (to have lost it). Good to know that Spike doesn't want to let her go either. OH! Eve is there? So she still has a key.. maybe she knew that she has lost Spike; she didn't wait in his bed, naked *shudder*. Did she want to blackmail him? She is threatening him.. I wonder what she can do. But I think she will drag her story to the media. I still think she'll fight dirty. Maybe telling everybody who has ears that Spike sleeps with his sister. Or that she is pregnant and he left her... everything that makes her look good. Well whatever she wants, Spike doesn't want her :-D We'll see. ~ I think Spike was clever enough to use protection when he was single (or later with Eve). When I remember right he had a lot of one night stands in the past, before Eve. And it's really better Spike checks that Eve is really gone. So he'll have the locks changed? He should change the code too. Hurry back too! Lol no, I know you update when you update but it did just fit. ~ Loved the chapter and looking forward to the next one. I'm soooo glad that the spuffyless times are over now.

Oh, she means it...I'm sure Eve is going to the tabloids with the brother/sister angle as we speak. She's going to try to ruin both of them...and try to create sympathy for herself as the jilted woman.

Spike would really be smart to call his publicist first with the breaking up with Eve news. They need to be ready for her offensive.
