I have been reading it since the beginning and i just finished. I have to tell you that I LOVED IT!!!! I think that you write them perfectly and it did have its ups and downs, which annoyed me at times because, of course, i wanted them together but it just had me still reading. I believe that i have been reading this for 2-3 weeks and i wish there was more. You are a great writer and I hope you will write more! Thank you so much for writing this!

Just to say that this story has been absoloutly AMAZING!! you have done such a good job. i have only jus started reading it and have done in the week. i have been sooo hooked on it that i just couldn't wait to see what happened next!! i love spike and buffy as a couple and its nice to see them in a different setting ( spike as rockstar and Buffy and spike being kinda step-siblings) This fic has to go in my favourates for a rainy day. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! i will deffo be reading more of your work.

see told you i had no life read this one in about three or four days, and i like it. your a great writer, and i can stand stories that dont have a little drama, cuase hey thats what makes em worth reading, this one i especialy like cause of how you anded his songs nad then like stuff that kinda happened around his song. that was awesome, cuase i am a big fan of his music. you rock

I absolutely loved this story! It was amazing and I was glued to my computer screen reading it from start to finish these last three hours. I thought Mona was a fantastic character and loved your characterization of both Buffy and Spike. It was all in all a beautiful love story from an exceptionally talented author.

I just wanted to say that I think that you are a brilliant writer and that this fic is one of the best once I've ever read.

This was extremely beautiful and well-written, more of two stories in one, with the partition being somewhere just before Spike was offered the chance to move to California. At times I felt like it had deviated so much from the original family issues/Angel's wake plot that it seemed like the logical thing to do would have been to make it two stories, but when I look at is as less of an internet story, more of a story about two lives, it all clicks together, it all flows exceptionally well. There are no partitions in life, just a plot that evolves and doesn't always include the same aspects. Thank you for writing this, because it was rewarding to read.

Wow, I came back to a finished story... what a wonderful read. The last chapter??? In five words or less... I. Need. A. Cold. Shower. LOL, loved it, very hot. I'm a tad disappointed we didn't get an Eve showdown, but after reading your end a/n I understand where you're coming from. So happy they got engaged, and in front of everyone to boot - brilliant. Congrats on a job well done sweety, thanks for sharing your wonderful talent.

This story was a wonderful ride through this relationship. It was hopeful and angsty and sexy, sometimes all at once. I enjoyed the evolution of these characters and their relationship. The original characters were well wrought, and the pace never lagged. Thanks for taking the time to write such an entertaining story.

You're writing never ceases to amaze me. For the most part, I'm suprised continually with where the plot line goes from chapter to chapter. I do mean suprised in a good way, I hate reading things where I can figure out the endings within the first few chapters.

It was great the way you pulled "Smile" out at the end. It was a very, very sweet moment that you painted. Cute the way someone yelled impatiently at Buffy to accept the proposal!
