just read this wonderful fic. you're very talented ;) the story made me laugh as well as my heart ache. i loved it!!

The BEST AU story I've ever read! And I've read a lot! I just spent the past three days spending all my free time doing nothing but reading this story! I love how you incorporated the James Marsters songs so seamlessly into the relationship. It never seemed like you were writing events into the story just so that the song would fit. You are an *awesome* storyteller. I'll definitely be looking forward to reading your new stories.

Holy crab cakes Batman! The evil trolls are alive and well once again. So sorry, Addie. I honestly have no idea why this particular story has been singled out for this war of words but I really regret that you've been subjected to all of this. Please don't let these trolls (or this troll under different handles perhaps) spoil it for you. The majority of reviews are positive in the sense of being either praise or constructive. As a writer of some angsty stuff I know how it is when a reader irrationally assumes that all that is spuffy must be puppies and rainbows, and it's frustrating. Especially since the end is so much sweeter having gone thru the angst first. And if a story is not to one's taste then it is the prerogative of the reader to cease reading it. I'm not a huge fan of torture fics, so if I see one I tend to pass it by. What I don't do is read it, knowing it's a torture fic, and then complain because someone's getting hurt in the pages. That's childish, and so is(are) your troll(s). Don't give the jerk(s) another thought and write what you wish. And I do love your story so far, and if you had pushed the story thru to hearts and sunshine any more quickly it wouldn't have been honest and rung true so I thank you for restraining any impulse (or reaction to prodding by readers) to hurry this along. You're doing a great job and I look forward to wherever you're going to lead us. Thanks.

Okay, there are two Sara Ms, which is so weird but whatever. Anyway, my review was on 7/11 at 6:55 pm and the other Sara M's was at 7:37pm on the same day and they are completely different opinions, so rather than seem like a multiple personality or something I thought I'd point out that we are different people. LOL For a minute there I was wondering if I wrote something I didn't remember writing at all it struck me so strangely. But since I'm doing a second review anyway, I just wanted to mention that I loved Buffy's note too. And I think that having Spike fall back on his old coping mechanism of drinking too much is very realistic and I like that very much. That tendency doesn't just go away on it's own as a general rule. And Buffy is thinking smartly about it too, putting the pieces together. Whatever else you decide to do with this plotline, this section is very nice. And I am an angst whore so bring it on!

Ok Miss Addie Logan... When I started reading this first chapter, it sounded soooo familiar!! So I was lookin around at the reviews seeing if I was right.. There weren't any on this site, but finally I remembered that you posted this on ff.net as well! I was your first reviewer on that site!! YAy!! go me!! Anyway, I still like this story, and now I am going to catch up with it! I am so happy that I stumbled into this again!! *grins*
