So does Spike let other women who want to fuck him, touch him casually like Ben is doing to Buffy? When she wouldn't even let her boyfriend comfort her, she lets some strange guy do it instead? Theres being polite and then theres being stupid. A guy her boyfriend is obviously jealous about and she's letting him touch her and be alone with her after telling Spike she needed to be alone. Thats just asking for a fight, throwing gasoline on the fire.

Getting advice is one thing.. letting a guy thats obviously interested in you, touch you is totally different.

I think that you write them perfectly and it did have its ups and downs, which annoyed me at times because, of course, i wanted them together but it just had me still reading. I absolutely loved this story! It was amazing and I was glued to my computer screen reading it from start to finish these last three hours. I thought Mona was a fantastic character and loved your characterization of both Buffy and Spike. It was all in all a beautiful love story from an exceptionally talented author.

Loved it. Absolutely loved it!! The good, the bad (that would be the bad for Spike and Buffy, poor guys), and the ugly (Eve, of course... thought I didn't actually love her so... moving on). Excellent story Addie. =D

This was extremely beautiful and well-written, more of two stories in one, with the partition being somewhere just before Spike was offered the chance to move to California. At times I felt like it had deviated so much from the original family issues/Angel's wake plot that it seemed like the logical thing to do would have been to make it two stories, but when I look at is as less of an internet story, more of a story about two lives, it all clicks together, it all flows exceptionally well. There are no partitions in life, just a plot that evolves and doesn't always include the same aspects. Thank you for writing this, because it was rewarding to read.

Wow, I came back to a finished story... what a wonderful read. The last chapter??? In five words or less... I. Need. A. Cold. Shower. LOL, loved it, very hot. I'm a tad disappointed we didn't get an Eve showdown, but after reading your end a/n I understand where you're coming from. So happy they got engaged, and in front of everyone to boot - brilliant.
