oh no. please don't let them break-up. It would destroy her whereas if she keeps hoping she can help to get him free; that gives her something to believe in. I really hope it's not going to get real angsty, because if it does I have to wait until you have written more than one chapter.:)
Great story!

Ok..First of all that was so emotional..but exactly what Buffy needed. Now Spike knows everything about the baby and the miscarriage and he is not angry with her...*whew*

I think that Giles heart is in the right place..but I think he is completely wrong..Everything that we know about Buffy's character..all the information about what kind of person she is, tells us that it doesn't matter if Spike breaks up with her or not. Sure she will be upset and hurt...but do they really think that she will stop loving him? and do they really think that she will let a man who she knows is innocent rot in prison for the rest of his life! Come on GILES, you should be smarter than that!!

I hope that Spike knows Buffy a bit better than that and doesn't hurt her unnecessarily..because I am betting that breaking things off with her is all that's going to do! Thanks for the great update, looking forward to more: D

so dawnie spilled the beans, huh? too bad! i wonder if spike will follow giles' advice. And i want to see buffy in action again! i know she's in pain now... but it could be a good way to react, start living again...

I almost thought Buffy would try to run; good think she didn't. I'm glad that they could talk, not dispute. But maybe Buffy should think again if it wouldn't be better to tell Spike everything. ~ Oh yeah.. Giles knows about that too and he told Spike. And he wants Spike to break up with Buffy? I can understand why he wants that ... though I hope Spike won't break up with Buffy.

Oh no.... I feel so badly for Spike for having to find out that way. However, I do think that Spike needs to calm his reactions to any warden-talk because someone might get suspicious at some point. I don't know why, but I keep worrying about that. :) Maybe because at least two people on the 'inside' know about them, but at least they are allies!

I hope that Giles' plan will lead to the start of the healing process for these two. It's breaking my heart! And I'm wearing a path to the computer, looking for an update! ;)

Loosing a baby like that is hard. Poor Buffy.

OMG, this is going so painfully slow that it's easy to imagine how it must be for both of them being apart and hurting. Good thing that Giles seems to take charge and he is doing something about it. This is chapter 50 and the story is nowhere close to the ending right? There is so much to resolve still (will we see Angel/Darla again?) that I think we all are in for at least 2 more years of this story.

If I manage to write one chapter a week from now on, it will be over in two months. I know I keep saying ten more chapters, but now it's true lol. About Faith in the last chapter..I understand your nervousness..but it really worked well.. I think it added another layer to the story.

I hate that Spike had to hear about Buffy from Andrew..but I think Giles is on the right track here. If they are going to be able to begin to heal from the pain of losing this baby..then they are going to need to have some grieving time together. Buffy and SPike need one another right now more than ever. So glad to see another update so soon..This is a wonderful story!

Author's Response: You're welcome. It was nothing but the truth :D You're right, Spike and Buffy are lucky to have Giles in their corner. Don't know what they would do without him. Actually, they are lucky to have so much support from friends and family. They really need it right now. And yes, they will get time to grieve together before Buffy jumps into action again. They both need it. I'll try to update as soon as I can. The next chapter is already half written.
