Well, she's quite possibly already pregnant, so...But Buffy had to ask, had to pose things out loud.
And yeah, these people are total idiots. It really could have been anyone. A past jilted lover. The wife of a lover. Anyone, besides the 5 of them. Dru was the kind of woman who makes lots of enemies.
The people you've surrounded yourself with, William, are no good for you. They've pulled you down into horrible depths. You could make a life with Buffy anywhere. You just have to swallow the fear and be a man. Take charge, for once.

Wheeeww..Drusilla sure did a some head work on Spike! As angry as I am at Spike for not trusting in Buffy's love, I can't help but to feel sorry for the way Drusilla and I dare to say others in Spike's life, have played with his head and his emotions. As bad as Dru was, his relationship with Xander and Cordelia are just as laced with poison. Even Giles, as well meaning as he seems, is basically trying to control SPike's life..and dare I say are more interested in their own agendas?
Poor Buffy, and her true blue, I am yours forever love...it's getting lost amist all the other crap that others in Spike's life have created. If Spike did not kill Drusilla he SHOULD HAVE CAME CLEAN! Screw the others!
Now...You know what we are all waiting for..Is Buffy pregnant? If she is....I CAN"T WAIT FOR SPIKE TO FIND OUT! That bitch Drusilla had him convinced that he couldn't procreate! What will Spike's reaction be? I just want to see Spike put Xander in his place before long..Also have a this idea that Xander will be MOST unhappy to hear that Buffy is pregnant. Should Buffy worry about her safety? So many question, so much anticipation..I love you updates, and I can't wait to find out what is going to happen next : D

I love this story. This is one of the few that I wait for with anticipation until the next update. Love where your taking this and I love the suspense. At this point, I am 50/50 on whether Spike really did kill Dru, or played a major hand in her death. I love that I can't see the next move.
Major understanding of why she has not told him she is pregnant. They both need to come clean before that bit of info is released. Now that she has done it, he needs to return the courage she just shown. And maybe he should also show the same faith in her as she does in him, because its like he's waiting for herto fail, and it's not fair.
Hope you update soon, and don't lose hope because I am one fan who is defintly keeping up with this story!!!

William is upset I know..Buffy knew he would be..but the very fact that he is comparing what she did to Drusilla just proves that he has not thinking clearly or being fair to Buffy. What she did was completely natural..Come on..there should NOT be places in her own home that she can't explore. That is not a good thing in any marriage. WAKE UP WIlliam! If I were Buffy, I would wait to tell him I was pregnant until I could see if things were going to work out...
AMOF...If Buffy were to tell William now..as quick as he is to acuse her of Dru like behavior. I wouldn't be suprised if he didn't believe her, or accused her of trying to "keep" him. It would serve him right not to find out through Buffy. That way he could see how much he had alianated his own wife..and that her motives are pure..Thank you for another wonderful update...this story is so addictive!

Oh god... I never, ever do this to a writer, but this time I have to break my own rule....
Please, please, please Mrs M... please update this soon! Sooner! The tension and passion and undercurrent of danger is breathtaking. This is your best fic yet, IMHO. Very grown up and bringing Spike and Buffy to places and emotions I'd hoped the show, if it had been allowed to continue would have done.
Whatever happened to Dru, is secondary to the web of deceit, lies and powerplays going on. Xander is one seriously overconfident man. Cordy appears a vaccuous cow and Spike, a broken man. Buffy is the strongest one there.
Love it, love it. Great writing. You have me totally immersed. I shall enjoy re-reading the fic in it's entirety later on, too.
