Ashlee, you are so generous with your time and talent, giving us two chapters nearly daily! I can't say enough how much I love this story. You have definitely succeeded in infusing a true sense of reality in this story. The human emotions just jump off the page. I adore how you have gradually fleshed out the consequences of everyone's actions, and not tried to wrap things up in a nice tidy bow as some authors might. It takes time to rebuild relationships, and I'm impressed with the time and care you are taking to do so. Great chapter again! Spike certainly has changed for the better in some ways. Both Buffy and Spike obviously grew while they were apart. Now we just have to see if they can learn to grow together.

Well, I am glad you're taking your time with this story. Laying it out and building it up slowly and realistically instead of going for the quick easy cheesy way out. I look forward to reading more.

I hope Buffy stays with Angel. Spike did not let Buffy know that he loved her before graduation. He ignored herafter she told him she was pregnant. He chose his job over Buffy and being responsible for a child. I'd leave himand take his baby away, too. He obviously is not mature enough to be a father. I'm glad Buffy found Angel and hope that Spike will at least visit them once in a while - but at this point I can't see Spike and Buffy together.

Hey, I may be a little mad at Buffy, but I'm so not on Spike's side either. I don't really like to choose sides and I always think Spike is an ass basically. I believed that on the show and well I believe that when I read some of these stories. Doesn't mean I don't like him though...lol. Yeah, makes a lot of sense. Well, I already know I don't really like Angel at the moment. I just want Spike to at least see his son and hopefully would decide that he wants to be a part of his life. I just know what it's like having a father that's not around and I think a father should always be a part of his child's life no matter what. That could be why I feel the way I do about this story. So, nothing against you or anything. I think you're a really great author and I have read some of your other work before. Well, like I said before I hope that everything will work out.

Awesome. Good chapter. And I still maintain my opinion that Buffy is being very grown-up bout this. So far. I see some testosterone being slung about. (hmmmm, taken literally, that is very gross). Hope there are fisticuffs later. :)
