First - glad that Cordy seems to come to her senses. Second - oh my - I don't like the direction Buffy is about to go - breaking up with Spike. But I don't know either how it will go if they stay together over this long distance. Even more if Buffy gets to know that Dru will be there, too.

I'm really sorry I didn't see this update. I read so much, lately I only read the ones I added to favorites fics. And this one was there, too. But lately this part of the site is fucked up - I add a story and annother one is deleted from this list. Sorry. Now on to the story: Personally? I think Buffy made the wrong decision. And I hope Buffy and Spike will stay together - and that this decesion won't break them up. Or that they'll break up and Buffy won't regret getting rid of that baby. And that she'll be able to get babies in the future - or she'll regret it to no end.
Author's Response: I love your feedback Cordy. One would hope if Buffy could get through with the abortion then some distance from Spike should be a piece of cake. Not that I'm saying she's totally over the abortion thing as you will see in the future chapters. I've been debating on a happy ending for these two. As the story writes itself, I find that I have tow tweek a few things. The muse wants what it wants. Thanks for your review

Yay I'm so glad you updated! "A Glimpse into an Affair"??? LOL That's soooo funny!! I really want to know what Buffy and Spike decide to do...I mean, realistically it would make sense that they break up because a year really is a long time to be apart and they're at that age when you don't want to be tied down. And then their relationship would be so much stronger if they still want to be together after that. But it would be so sweet if they stayed together. Heehee. Can't wait to find out what happens! =)

Wow great chapter I think its very brave of you to write this, it was amazingly done. Normally writers always make Buffy keep the baby if she’s pregnant, I’ve never read one where she has an abortion. A very emotional chapter and I think its great how you described what she went through because it shows how painful and emotional abortion is, though some people may be angry for what she done I think realistically for your story she couldn't keep the baby even though I’m pro life and it also makes your story so much more real than others out there. Great that Spike was there to support her through it, I’m looking forward to read how things turn out.

Oh my goah... im crying. In most fic whne buffy is pregnate they alwasy talk about abortion but this is the fisrt one i've seen where she goes through with it. I like that u didn't shy away from it. I kon alot of people who are so pro-life that whne they even hear the word abortion they get all up set. I'm really glad that u had spike there the whole time... if he wasn't i most likly would of cried harder. im really loving this fic plz update soon
Author's Response: This chapter was sad. I almost didn't write it this way. I was going to bypass the detailed experience but when I sat down to write it I found it to be impossible so I went for it. I just knew I was going to get flamed but so far I haven't. I'm glad you are enjoying the story and thank you for the review.

I thought you handled that beautifully. I am pro-choice and it just really ticks me off that people automatically assume that abortion is the woman's first choice and that it causes her no pain. For some women, it is the only choice, no matter how flawed. You handled this in a very sensitive manner from both Buffy and Spike's perspectives and I hope that all that read it realize that and do not let personal bias get in the way. Great work!

worried about this chapter because some parts were graphic. I thought it would turn a lot of people off but so far I've gotten some good responses. I agree this chapter was sad. Wait, is she allowed to use a tampon? I feel weird just asking the question, although I don't know why. How horrible for Buffy to live through- I don't know how brave I'd be in the same situation. I'm so happy Spike was fully supportive and went with her- it's nice to know that not all men will just up-and-leave when a woman gets pregnant.
Author's Response: I reread that sentence and it does sound like I'm saying it was okay for her to use a tampon. I cleared it up though. I'm glad you brought thought to my attention. She can't put anything inside her for 4-6 weeks and unfortunately that means Spike too. He was a brave man for going with her. Its unfortunate it damaged him in some way. Thanks for the review

Icky chapter . . . . I mean, I'm pretty much pro choice (for the most part) but as a personal choice I don't think I could ever go through with an abortion, and I'm really squeamish when it comes to reading about it too (or any medical procedure for that matter - it's why I could never be a doctor, lol) . . . . anyway, I still like the story though (as I like all the stories I've read of yours so far). Even though abortion seems to be a good idea at the time, I fear this will pose a huge problem in their relationship if they stay together. If they have other children they will remember killing their first. I realize too that if she keeps the baby Spike and Buffy will probably end up separated anyway, what to do? What to do? Perhaps what they need is to go their separate way, mature a little and get back together.
