A cross dimensional location spell - or is there more to the world reversal than you're letting on? Or is it something entirely different - with all the wonderful things going on in this tale - I'm not making any bets on any of it - I'll just keep reading and enjoying. I loved Spike trying to deny his feelings and then bam! as soon as there's danger - he's a caged animal trying to save his mate (he didn't claim her? - right! when even Xander gets it - it pretty obvious!). So is the mysterious robed figure the "he" of the 2 beings putzing around with Buff's life? or are you giving us something entirely new to chew on (again). Or maybe it's Leanna (following more orders?). Oh the suspense, the intrigue. Don't fail school, but write more please (don't you have any classes where you could write Spuffy FanFic for credit? - look into that would you please? ;-D)

Throughout this whole thing, I've got some really creative guesses and I just have to sit here and not say anything because well, then what would be the fun in that? And seriously, I need to get myself into a class that makes us do creative writing so I can turn this in for credit! lol. Thanks for the review :D

I love how Dawn is such the mature little sister to Spike. And Xander was absolutley brilliant in the chapter. The whole bit with the cupcake was really a laugh riot. And, I kinda love the fact that you haven't answered a single question from the last chapter, and have managed to open up even more. Most importantly, what's with the Buffy spot over the maps' Magic Box? And is that cave Buffy the other Buffy? Adore this story. Update soon!

Good update. I haven't felt that Buffy was too out of character for the circumstances give to her. Attitudes would have been different or changed depending on what other factors were present. She has been looked at as the bad one here. She was forced to see things from her Spike's perspective. All in all, I think you've captured her well. Look forward to the next update.

In a way a sad chapter (for Buffy), and a funny one (cupcakes) an a chapter bringing the truth ;-) Spike will hopefully stop denying now that he loves her. I wonder if that was a claim or not? Maybe it could help him to find her - if he would hear. But he's so heavy in denial... Looking forward for more.

heh Giles having to admit Xander is right...Fantastic chap. Really grabbed me in and now I'm chomping at the bit to see where Buffy actually is. Kind of weird to think of Buffy being confronted by her soulless self.

I can't get behind Buffy being hurt. Sorry, but I always thought that Buffy was as nice to Spike as she could be.
Sorry, please forgive me, but Spike was 'undead, evil and a child of the night, you know?' He said it so many times. Of course, I was a Buffy fan first, a Spike fan second.
Sigh...I know, I'm in the minority here but I can't help it.
I always felt that Buffy, in Season 7, went above and beyond her call of duty to protect and help Spike. If that's not love? What is?
I guess I watched too many convos with Joss at the end of the Dvd's. He made it clear that Buffy and Spike were the 'epic love story' even over Buffy and Angel.
Kind of like Wuthering Heights and all?
Anyway, please keep up the great work! Love it, even if I think Buffy's been punished enough.

Anyway, as for in the fic, I think she would be hurt if she let herself get into the fantasy world of being so caught up in a relationship like she was with Angel. As for Buffy and how she treated Spike, she was cruel at times, but I always say that Spike was a jerk also. Initially the fic was meant to deal with my issues with Buffy and how she used him, but at this point, it's not about punishing her anymore. It's a pivotal part of how the story resolves, and if she did not have the chip, I would make her kick more ass :) Thanks for the review!!

LOL- I was cracking up at the cupcake analogy and then I got the weirdest case of deja vu and then thought, 'Duh' LOL! Loved the angst in this chapter and the fact that Spike really does care for her (even if he was acting like a jackass when she apologized).
