Well, I didn't guess it right from the start- just from when he started acting like a jerk, but poor Buffy! She'll have to leave Sunnydale when this is over, because all of her 'friends' will be involved :-) Hopefully not, but I'm still loving it!
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm only able to respond to your last review, so here goes.
Yes, Xander has been acting very suspicious. He hated Spike on site (not just because of jealousy). Xander was on break from Anya until just after the murders happened...Buffy will point this out in the next chapter.
There was alot of violent history in his childhood and I wanted to connect Xander's hatred for Holden Webster and his 'family' to his resentment over Jesse (from the show) being killed in season 1.
I am purposely writing Buffy's character to be very willing to get out of Dodge (or Sunnydale as the may be). England would be perfect, however, I'm not sure if I'm going to have to just flying off that easily. We'll have to see.
Tonight, I'm going to try and submit the next chapter of La Familia Vampire.
It's tough, I'm trying to write the reunion scene between Spike/Buffy to be realistic, not too sugary or sappy. Angel and Buffy were sugar and sap, not Spuffy. Spuffy was sparks and fire.
Also, I want Spike to actually see/meet James in this chapter. That's going to be hard to do.

I didn't guess it was Xander because I made myself a promise I wouldn't guess! lol. But I loved the whole Nick Harris angle you had - very clever ;) I would love to see Xander's reaction to them knowing/suspecting him as the killer.
