"Buffy Finn" just doesn't roll off the tongue so well. And she admitted (to herself at least) that she's still in love with Spike!! That's a good thing! I'm really happy that Spike has such solid support from Angel, Cordy, Wes, and Giles and Jenny. They are so good to him, it's really sweet and heartbreaking at the same time. Kimber, I love this story so much! It's so sad and so good! =)

I had to read this first, to be able to get distance from it again. It's hard for me to read. And I don't like Riley with Buffy, but I told you that before. *sigh* It's so sad.

Glad the trio rescued Spike from Fred. That was such fun to read. Than - well. Buffy wants to keep the child. I'm glad about that. But marry Riley (even only for the name for now) :-( I hope she won't do it. But I'm not sure if she has another chance. I wonder if Wesley is payed by Eric. I don't think that Buffy would have the money. So she's to Virginia now.... Wonder what will happen next

I loved it. I'm so glad Anya, Cordy, and Tara came to the rescue. I so did not think Spike was going to try and kill himself but it makes perfect sense. Damn Riley, he makes me sick...talk about desperate. I wonder who's paying the bill could it be Eric out of guilt by why not let anyone know. Please update soon. This chapter was excellent

Author's Response: Oh Eric once he gets word will do everything in his power to make things right....He has been where Spike is, and will be there......but as we know life on the road can be hectic, especially when you are the main attraction......

Not meaning this to be a diss to your story, cause it's a good one. But I have one pet peeve the most authors do with the characters of Spike and Buffy in their stories that I just want to get out there. I can't stand it, that when in most stories, there's a big conflct between the two (although in your story, it's a pretty big conflict) and the characters break up, all the sub characters side with Buffy imediately and shun Spike out of the dynamic. I'm not saying they shouldn't be angry if it is his fault, bu friendships are supposed to run deeper then a break up to bust up that bond. Even the characters that were friends with Spike before Buffy take her side and kick his ass to the curb. it just frustrates me. Even in your story, they can see that Fred is not behaving like a normal doctor should, but all they say is she's a whore and blame everything on Spike. And I actually think this is not totally his fault...I wish he were stronger emotionally and in his relationship with Buffy...but she is messing with his mind at a time when his mind is not really his own. And no one except Angel really believes in him. I'm afraid that the other characters won't really accept or like him again untill Buffy and him ge back together, (if you allow them too that it :) ) and they only do for Buffy's sake. I just wish the characters would try to see outside the box and little and see that not everything is like they thought. Also, by the way they attacked him, physically and verbally, it's just fuel for the fire Fred started, making him think she's right. Don't get me wrong though, Buffy is pregnant with his baby and when she's calls to tell him he breaks it all off with her. She's in pain and he caused it. That's how it is on the outside. And I just wish someone other then Angel would attempt to see what is really going on. I truely think this is a good story and I commend you for it.

Author's Response: They are not seeing really what Fred is doing, just that she is sleeping with her client...they don't know what she has done to make that happen and they all think that Spike is in control of his wants and needs right now.....but is he truly in control.........hmmmmmm. I guess we will find out soon enough....I appreciate what you are telling me.....but my muse did not get to talk to you first, LOL, maybe it should have, but then it might have hurt what I have planned next...hmmmm. It's something to think about for the next story I write......

Okay.Now this is coming from a guy's point of view.I don't care what influences Spike is under,or what psycho Doc is making him believe,he's an pathetic ass!!!.If I were Buffy there is no way I could or would forgive Spike,no matter the circumstances.In this fic I don't want to see S/B get back back together.I'd like to see Buffy happily married to someone else,and after Spikes career completly bombs and losing everything .including his family,him living in a box in alley.Harsh.I know.But I really can't see any redeeming at all for Spike in this fic.

Author's Response: Daniel I hope I can prove you wrong....all I can do is try. I hope that a person can have a chance to prove themselves worthy after falling so far they either crash and burn or dig themselves out from under the mess they made of their lives. Sometimes what brings you down, can make you stronger.....if you learn from your mistakes and use them to build instead of further destroy.

God, what a mess they're in! Buffy is carrying Spike's baby, Riley can't have any, and Fred wants one too -- hmm, wonder where that's going? I have no idea how Spike will redeem himself -- but I know you'll pull it off.
