Uh oh. Faith and Robin?
Good to see them talking and getting things out in the open. The part with the dishes had me a little frustrated with her. I wanted her to yell at him or snark at him and tell him if he didn't like how the dishes were done, then to do it himself!! I know that's what Spike probalby wants to in the end. He wants her to be her. I think with the little nudges he gives her, daring her to retaliate and how he also takes the time to talk with her, is helping her.
Looking forward to more :)

Oh! Who's there? Giles, perhaps? Because that'd be a nice switch. Spike acting the way he did about the dishes surprised me- I just wish he'd be normal again with her all of the time, not just sometimes. I can understand why he's doing this, but it's still hard to read it. At least Buffy's coping with it... but in the same sense, I wish she'd lash out at him and have that spark ignited inside her again. Thanks for updating:)

i'm conflicted i really liked that spike came and resuced buffy but i dont like how submissive she's being with him! she asked permission to go on the beach!
Author's Response: Buffy is unsure of where her life is, and she trusts Spike to help her to return the light as he has before. Eventually, we hope Buffy will learn to take things on her own again.

Sounds like a bit of Buffy is at least trying to come back (asking for help is a GREAT step). So Glad Spike got a bit of confidence back that he can help Buffy (I was worried he might take that "using her/ownership" thing too far and cause more damange. I love this tale because they are still so in love, but so broken in many ways. I loved the line about Spike carrying Buffy's soul with him. That was really moving. More please

So much more the interesting now that the scoobies are activiely seeking Buffy. One has to wonder if they'll ever understand... or if perhaps, Buffy is right and all she ever needed to do was just explain things to them. But, worrying about things you should have done... We all know where that gets us. And at last, our girl has made a conscious effort to reconnect with who she is. I'm thrilled and in continuous awe of this story. Please, update soon!

I'm glad Buffy's back on her path again, the one that will lead her to how things should be. Nice detail of having Faith and Robin come to find her- I wonder if they will, sooner or later. Paloma is a cool character- she seems both wise and loving, which is always a good person in my book

What a tale this is turning out to be! So sexy yet so heartbreaking even with all the love obviously shared between B&S. And Spike is being so brave in trying to "fix" things and bring Buffy back to the land of the living. If only her mind and heart could find what her body still knows to be true....well, when you've been the salvation of the world and lost almost everything you've ever cared about in the process (some more than once) I can understand how you might lose yourself. I know Spike will eventually find the right combo to free Buffy's spirit again and then all will be vibrant! Looking forward to more of this exceptional tale!

Poor Buffy and Spike...I'm glad he told her it wasn't about the sex all the time. Really liked the part when he grabbed her by the hair to reassure her he wasn't going to abandon her like all the others...thats my Spike. Also, like the part when she really opened her heart to him and Spike recognized that she would have never done that with anyone but him. They're slowly getting there. This chapter was pretty intense for me and tracking device. God, I hope the scoobies and Giles don't come to the rescue. Please update soon...excellent chapter
