Can't wait to see what happens next! Great chapter!

I am guilty of not reviewing every chapter because I often read updates late at night and I'm too tired to come up with words. But that's no excuse and I do enjoy your work very much. I feel the same way you do and often thought about not updating on this site anymore. One of my most popular stories went from getting 20 reviews for every chapter, to 6 or 7 if I'm lucky. Don't know what's going on on this site, but I can assure you it's not because your work isn't good. Thank goodness for Cordykitten, the most faithful reviewer ever lol Great chapter by the way. I'm glad they arrived in time to save Jenny.

I love your story and I promise to review every story I read. I haven´t done it before, because englisch isn´t my native language and I´m much better in reading than writing - it takes a lot of time to come up with something.:-)

After reading your author's note I am hanging my head in shame. I am one of those awful readers who don't review often enough, but if my reviewing will keep you writing I will try and be more diligent about it. I really do enjoy your stories.

I wonder if you are aware that every time a person goes to a chapter in your story (or anyone's story), that counts as a hit. Meaning, I can go to any chapter you've written 50 times and you will believe that 50 different people have viewed your story...if you didn't know what I'm telling you now...when in actuality, it was only one person. I've been to your last chapter about 4 times now and have gotten the count up to about 61. I wonder if Pari can do anything to the code that will only allow one count per computer (per chapter) so authors can get a realistic count on the number of hits? Wouldn't hurt to bring it up.

Author's Response: Yes, I did know that, and I know that every time I go to check it adds (which I try to go elsewhere besides actual chapter), but it's an overall thing. My reviews seem to have dropped drastically and when you compare (which is a really bad thing to do) other authors and see the tremendous number of reviews, it doesn't make for a good feeling, Like I said, several things are going on in my life--not that most of them are new, but five kids, two of which are autistic is really becoming difficult for me emotionally and to lose so many reviewers that I once had (especially when I see them reviewing elsewhere) and having mo real knowledge of why, is just a burden I want to not have. So it seemed wise to me to just remove myself from one place where it's been adding to my upset. I hope that I am expressing this okay? And thank you for liking the story.

you have got to be kidding me. joyce is a vampire? that's just not right and she wouldn't have been allowed back in the house. she would have needed an invite. i couldn't stand seeing her like this. a little warning would have been nice. i don't remember seeing anything about a character death, i usually try to avoid those. i really liked this story, but it's ruined for me now.

Author's Response: No I'm not kidding you. I'm sorry if you don't think it's right, unfortunately it is my plot development and this was plotted almost a year ago. Joyce didn't need an invite, as further chapters will explain. I'm sorry you can't hang around to see what happens and that you don't trust my ability to tell a story fairly, but i understand if you have to leave it. It just flabbergasts me that you couldn't post your name. As for the warning, you're right. I should ahve done that and I hadn't even thought about it as I get caught up in main characters and didn't even consider the significance of Joyce. That was wrong and I've gone back to edit, but unfortunately there is no character death warning in the options. All I cna do is pop it in my authors note or summary for the chapter which I don't have time to do now but will this afternoon when I get home. Again, I am sorry that it has ruined the story for you. It is by no means at an end, and as I don't actually like vamping characters or killing them off, it's ironic the first time I do someone jumps on me about it. To each their own.

Yep, it did have enough :) Loved it, especially I'm falling in love with you See, I was able to catch up a bit. No thunderstorm yet. I hope it stays away for now :)
