Well Spike is suspicious now because Katie said her husband died suddenly because of consumption. Mmm I wonder if Spike did find the coin. I fear not. And Buffy is still jealous.

Buffy's "Face it, Spike. That skanky, frontier ho-bag has our magic coin..." made me laugh out loud. I loved this entire chapter. The theft forced Spike and Katie back together, which pushed Buffy to further examine her confused emotions. Buffy's discovery of Katie's oppulent wardrobe and her thievery strengthened suspicions that Katie is all kinds of bad.
I'm glad you were able to work through your writer's block, I'm really enjoying this entertaining story.
