Wow Aislynn this sure is a Halloween fic with a difference! I love what you've done with Buffy's character. There are still parts of the original girl that we grew to care for on BTVS but the slayer demon and Amon aspects have made her edgier and given her an epic internal struggle to deal with all while trying to sort out her place within the hierarchy of her new vampire family and, in particular, her relationship to her Sire. I have to admit I'm holding out for her to kick a little Spike ass (you are gonna let her aren't you?) but oh the convoluted jourrney to that point is thrilling!! I'm particularly excited about finding out exactly what kind of power Amon imbues her with and whether her vampiric traits will make her use that to her individual advantage or not. I'm personally hoping the truly good nature of the (former?) slayer will enable her to be heroic in that regard despite the personal cost (Buffy will always be a hero in my opinion no matter what her circumstances). Waiting eagerly for your next update.

God I've missed this story. Great chapter, I love Buffy's little bits of defiance and her and Spike? So hot.

Author's Response: Sorry, I haven't given up just life keeps getting in the way of writing. I am going to keep up the updates though I know its frustrating. Its as frustrating for me not being able to have time to write.

Sorry everyone for the lack of updates. I had to go to London for 3 weeks my grandmother had knee surgery so I went to take care of her for a bit. So I am back and should have updates more updates on the way!!!!

Well, Spike spending the night with Buffy? Thats sure to Piss Dru Off Royally - I love this story. I can't wait to learn more about Amon and how Buffy can hopefully use all the info to her advantage. More please.

Hey, so i read what you posted already. I really like the way you write Buffy, it captures the movement and everything really well. I'm looking forward to her getting more power, because personally that's just what i like, the whole balance between the two, i think you write spike really well, which is good, i don't normally really like dark kinda cruel spike characterization, but you pull it off really well ( doesn't mean you can't make him nicer if you want) , does Buffy have her soul? it seems like she does sometimes, anyways, excellent job, take care

New reader, here. I love the story also. But this Spike character...just who does he think he is? I know, her Sire. But for a Sire, he is clue-less. :) Can't wait for him to be taken down many, many notches by what is turning out to be his very powerful childe!

I don't like Spike being with Dru in this fic, so I'm glad about what I think Buffy thought: Without Angel - not ritual to heal Dru ... and if Angel is dust - no second chance in doing so ;-)
