Summary: This is a collection of paired, post-Chosen stories, one each for Spike and Buffy based on the five stages we go through when we grieve - denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. The scenes in this collection are pretty much rooted in canon as far as possible, although clearly much of Buffy's are fanatsy. And in my fantasy world, Buffy grieved for Spike. And things happened a little differently.
