With the loss of her mother over a year ago, her boyfriend, Angel, and her home, Buffy is feeling very alone and empty inside. When an interesting character shows up her life, how will she handle the attention he is giving her? Does she run and hide, the fear of losing what they could have overpowering the want to be close with someone, or does she jump in, throwing caution to the wind? As she finds out more and more about this unusual man named Spike, she finds her decision becoming clearer and clearer.
