This is not as dark or angsty as my usual stuff, but it's not fluff either. I just had an idea of Buffy trying to find something in Spike that may or may not be there, and Spike completely missing the point. Wrote this to take kind of a break from a more involved BtVS fic that I won't be posting on this site because it doesn't revolve around Spike and Buffy. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!
