The entire Scoobie gang was seated at a table near the dance floor, still baffled from the information they had recently learned.
“Oh god, Oh god” Xander continued to mumble.
“Will you shut up with that already?” Anya said harshly. “We get it, ok?”
“Why do you think they had to destroy their clan?” Buffy suddenly asked. After Buffy received knowing looks, as if the answer was obvious, she added, “Oh duh, stupid question.”
A minute or two past in silence, no one knowing what to say.
Finally, Xander decided to break the gloomy mood. “C’mon everyone, let’s dance and boogey!” Xander suggested, now coherent from his rambling. “Bad thoughts will be no more!”
Everyone at the table got up excitedly, thankful for the change of mood. They were all ready to dance and boogey the concerned thoughts away.

“Ok Will, let’s dance first, then order some of those nummy spicy wings, an’ drink an’ relax.” Spike inquired of his mate. “Sound good, yeah?”
“Ok, good idea.” Will agreed with a smile.
Spike grabbed his hands, leading him to the dance floor. They took hold of each other and started to sway, their hands roaming free over the others body. They looked deep into each other’s eyes, and after a few songs they ended up swaying as they kissed passionately.
Finally, they took notice to their surroundings. The humans around them had completely stopped dancing and were now staring at them, shocked by their display of affection.
Still holding onto Will’s hand, Spike spoke angrily, “What?”
Sensing his twins distress, Will lead them both off the dance floor in search of a free table. Spike stopped short when he felt a tap on his shoulder. Will froze in response before he turned around to face the same thing Spike was, a group of teenagers.
The one who touched Spike gave a rather polite greeting. Both however, were still annoyed and upset about what happened early on the dance floor so they respond with a harsh and abrupt, “Hi.”

“Oh no, not now.” Buffy complained. “I’m not ready to meet them.”
The group of teens took notice of their friends distress.
“What is it Buffy?” Willow questioned.
“Two very powerful vampires are jus-“
Buffy suddenly cut off after taking notice as to why everybody else on the dance floor had stopped dancing. There in the middle of the dance floor, were two men dancing, kissing and groping each other.
Finally, they took notice of their surroundings as well.. It must have been them, the twin vampires. It looked like it was time to meet the new helpers.
“Oh god, is that the vampire mated, married, twins?“ Xander asked, mouth hanging wide open.
“Come on guys, let’s go say hello.” Buffy said in a huff. “And get this over with.”
They went quickly, chasing after the twins retreating forms.
Buffy quickly tapped on one of their shoulders to get both of their attentions and stop them going any further.
“Hi.” Buffy said sweetly.
In union they both said, ’Hi’, both sounding upset and annoyed about her very presence.
