After reading Ain't No Sunshine about four times over the last three years I finally got around to reading the sequel. Fan-fucking-tastic. There's just the right amount of suspense and plot drama to keep it continuously interesting. I really hope that you finish this at some point. I think I'll be very depressed if Buffy and Spike don't get their happy ending. Awesome job so far. :)
Summary: Buffy is going through a very tough time of it in Season 6, eventually leading to her making a run for it. Spike tries to help by offering to let her "play house" with him. Things spiral weirder and weirder from there...

Just an observation I made. It says a few times in this chapter that she doesn't want him to know she loves him, and that she hasn't told him yet, but in chapter 7 she did the big confession thing in the kitchen. So it's just a tad bit confusing to say he doesn't know she loves him when she already told him she's been in love with him since she was 12.
Love the story so far though. I'll definitely continue reading.

This was fantastic! :D Normally I don't have the patience to read something this lengthy in such a short time, but I finished this in under two days. You did an excellent job with the plot and character development, and the relationship between Buffy and Spike was very realistic. It didn't become romanticized as it does in so many Spuffy fics. Oh my god! I didn't see that one coming. Poor Lorne :( I wonder what he did to upset them enough to kill him. Meh. Poor Buffy, too. Having those conflicting emotions can't be easy.
